Blu x Nottz Are “Titans In The Flesh” On Collaborative EP

    Back at it, Blu and Nottz released their Titans In The Flesh EP today.

    The seven-track offering comes after the duo released Gods In The Spirit in 2013.

    Guest appearances on Titans In The Flesh come from Bishop Lamont, Torae, Skyzoo, Mickey Factz, and Blu’s longtime producer Exile.

    In anticipation for the project, Blu shared his Top 5 collaborative albums with HipHopDX, including Ice Cube’s Amerikkka’s Most Wanted with Bomb Squad.

    After the success of their 2013 EP Gods In The SpiritBlu and Nottz team up again for the Titans In The Flesh project, the duo announced via press release today.

    The seven-track project, released through Coalmine Records, is due out July 15 and is to be sold digitally through all major retailers and as an Easter-yellow vinyl. Guest appearances on Titans In The Flesh come from Bishop Lamont, Torae, Skyzoo, Mickey Factz, and Blu’s longtime producer Exile.

    Nottz is a member of The Soul Council, 9th Wonder’s production squad. The Jamla head honcho called the Virginia producer “arguably the best beatmaker walking the planet” upon his induction onto the elite team.

    Blu released Bad Neighbor with MED and Madlib in October. The Los Angeles rapper has been a staple in the game since the mid 2000s. He teamed up with Exile in 2007 for Below the Heavens.

    1. This is gonna be FIRE! I was listening to the last blu and nottz joint yesterday. Dope beats and rhymes, what else do you want?

    2. Blu is such an underrated MC… so fucking talented. Loved the last EP, definitely looking forward to this one.

    3. I listened to their first EP together like once. Blu’s Alchemist and Evidence racist tirade kinda turned me off of him. Bad Neighbor was poorly mastered, so was G2BH. He can spit but I rarely listen to his music outside of Below the Heavens. Nothing else has really moved me as a classic.
