Cleveland Cavalier fans got a shot of hope after LeBron James and Kyrie Irving led the team to a 112-97 win over the Golden State Warriors in Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Monday (June 13), and now they have an anthem to rally behind as they cheer for their team to tie the series in Game 6 on Thursday.
In a video that dropped on YouTube on June 11 and that has done more than 1.4 million views on Facebook since being shared there shortly after, rapper and Cavs fan @FlipSideMoton lays into back-to-back NBA MVP Stephen Curry over the beat from — what else — Drake’s “Back to Back.”
Moton doesn’t waste any time with attacking Curry, opening with the lines, “You little lightskin bitch / You’re only here ‘cuz of Klay / Your whole team full of cheaters / I hope your kneecaps break.”
He also goes at Golden State coach Steve Kerr and Curry’s recent Under Armour shoe release, which was thoroughly lambasted on social media.
“You dropped them wack ass tennis shoes / Nigga probably bring his daughter to the interview,” Moton raps.
In the description for the video on YouTube, Moton writes, “I’m a lebron fan…but ion got nun against curry fr he cold asl….but still FUCK STEPH CURRY!!!”
