Cash Money Records is expanding.
Birdman has announced the launch of a new imprint called Cash Money West and revealed its first signing, Long Beach native Saviii 3rd. The Hip Hop mogul unveiled the news on Instagram, sharing a picture of himself and his latest signee alongside Wack 100.
“Thugginn @saviii3rd @wack100 #CMW #dropping #kingofhiphop @birdman5star,” Birdman wrote.
Saviii added, “Cash Money Business. stop asking,” in his post of the photo.
Wack 100, best known for managing The Game, also shared the news on social media.
“Done Deal @saviii3rd first signed to #CashMoneyWest @birdman5star #West,” he wrote on Instagram.

I’m a fan of west coast music, I like nipsey, jay rock, the old skeme, dom kennedy, g. perico. But at some point these labels, artist, management has to understand this bloods and crips shit is super over saturated. Why would anybody want to sign to cash money in 2018? Especially after what we seen what wayne went through for all these years. Why all of a sudden they want to take an interest in west coast artist? Fu.ck them,stay independent! Get distribution with empire and build your brand. Fu.ck birdman and his agenda.
