Big Sean Says His Sophomore Album Will Feature Appearances From Kanye West, Tyga & More

Detroit rapper Big Sean did a bit of name dropping on Cosmic Kev’s show on Philadelphia’s Power 99 as he revealed a few of the guest appearances that are set for his still untitled sophomore album.
According to Big Sean the album will feature guest appearances and production from No I.D., Kanye West, Tyga, and more. And while he didn’t necessarily state that they would be featured on his album he did shout out fellow rappers J. Cole. and Meek Mill.
“No I.D., Kanye of course. I actually had this new kid KeY Wane who he was working with Meek Mill too,” Big Sean explained in a video posted on Hip Hop-N-More. “He got one with Meek that’s crazy. Shout out to Meek Mill too. We was in the studio the other night. Me and him got a lot of stuff coming…A lot of people man. Tyga’s on the album, of course ‘Ye on the album, G.O.O.D. Music fam on there, Wiz on there. A lot of people on there man.”
The rapper also spoke on being humble when he responded to Cosmic Kev’s shock at the fact that he chose to keep his old phone number.
“Nah, numbers don’t change around here man we too real for that. You know what I’m saying? I remember being in my mom’s crib,” said Big Sean. “I remember being in my mom’s house in my room wishing this would pop off, you feel me? So it’s like I just appreciate you showing love, the success, everything going. ‘Ass’ is about to go double platinum and that’s just unreal.”

      1. FUCK THAT!! cousin YESSIR YMCMB SUCKS ASS!!! besides Big Sean riding with ROC NATION HEAVY!!!! not those YMCMB losers ROC NATION FOR LIFE NIGGA’S come ride on the ROC NATION TRAIN

    1. I can see Big Sean going more commercial than he is at present. Not to the extent of Drake though.

      1. Hip-Hop is mostly commercial. If you want to sell some records and make some money then you have to be mainstream. Not hating on the underground but I don’t know alot of underground rappers. Honestly im not checking for them like that because I don’t know who is underground.

    2. Notice that these days rappers have to talk about who is on their album and what producers they have because the rappers themselves? Yeah they’re WACK!

Remember when it was the artist that you were actually into? Yeah when that ended is right around the time when sales started going down. Hmm

    3. Nobody except maybe Flo rida can make a career out of just singles. Big Sean’s album flopped, so it’s funny to hear him sound so confident.

      1. His album did not flop at all. It didn’t go platinum and probably hasn’t gone gold yet but I don’t consider that a flop..Dude had buzz when he released it but before My Last came out none of the “mainstream” fans had ever heard of him. You don’t expect a rookie to go plat on his debut, unless its someone like Drake. Plus albums don’t sell anymore, don’t you know?

      2. He’s right..This album was more of a intor..EM’s first album sold a 1000 copies..Now he’s the biggest selling hip hop artist ever. Not saying the same thing will happen with Sean, but he has grown has a rapper and he has a lot of talent.

    4. “Plus albums don’t sell anymore, don’t you know?”

      Well I know that:

      Eminem
      Jay Z
      Kanye West
      Lil Wayne
      Drake
      NM
      T.I.
      Young Jeezy’s

albums all sold well… Didn’t you know that? Of course you didn’t. Foolish little child.
