Big K.R.I.T. is making up for his absence from Hip Hop in a big way. After confirmation in August that his new album was done and some cryptic social media posts that popped up in September, it appears that the rollout for the project is now in full effect. Following up his “Confetti” single last week, the Mississippi rapper dropped the video for “Keep The Devil Off (Take 1),” and has now announced the details for his upcoming double album named 4eva Is A Mighty Long Time.
The project is currently available for pre-order on iTunes.
4eva Is A Mighty Long Time will have 22 tracks and currently has no listed features. The release date is set for October 27.

Can’t wait.. been waiting on some new Krizzle!
Same here. Its better this way and 12 for 12 were both great projects.
cant wait for this!
He hasn’t been as active in recent years, but KRIT is the king of the south imo. No southern artist is making music as good as KRIT. Returnof4Eva is one of my favorite projects of all time..I can’t wait to hear what he’s been cooking
new krizzle
My top 5 has Krit in it along with Gansta Gibbs, Kendrick, J-cole, I through Nipsey in there because he provides a certain Inspiration that not many can especially coming from a banger blood or crip. Krit is not only one of the best rappers but he is one of the most talented artist in Music period. This album will prob be a classic
I respect your top 5. I wish Nipsey would actually drop that Victory Lap album of his though. Seems like he’s going to keep us waiting until next year for that bitch.
Glad to see that the times have caught up with him. Been feeling his music since K.R.I.T. wuz Here.
The album covers are just the bomb. Can’t wait
Still playing ‘Cadillactica’ in a steady rotation, I’m sure this will be as good as that album is. Or better.
Still waiting on that country cousins
Finally! Some new KRIT.
22 songs could fit in one cd
True, but the total time could be over 80 minutes.
the King is back
For f’ sake, could you at least clean your dirty as nails before posing for you own ALBUM COVER. Seriously dude.
Shut the fuck up
Maybe there is a reason for the dirt?
Finally the king of the South has returned #multi
How’s everyone saying he’s king of the south? His sales are no where near Atlanta cats, NO WHERE NEAR.
who cares about sales? its the quality of the music
besides, who from the A is actually putting up REAL numbers NOW? Migos? Have they even sold 500k of an album EVER? Singles, maybe, or perhaps with the silly new album “equivalent.” But I doubt they’ve even moved 300k actual SOLD copies of an album.
I don’t know about the king of the south since Outkast are still active in some capacity, but to answer your question, it is because his music is objectively much better than theirs. I would listen to KRIT over Gucci or Waka or whatever wack trap cats are coming out of Atlanta any day.
Big KRIT is definitely the Prince of the South. The King title has to go to Scarface… However, KRIT is definitely the best of contender to take the crown. TI is not that good in my opinion, and KRIT has all the makings of a true leader in southern hiphop (aka real hiphop). Migos or the soundcloud crowd need not apply.
Y’all all trippin … TIP is king of the south until someone says otherwise… ain’t nobody trying to claim that title cuz they know TI ain’t gon let em entertain the idea … KRIT is a better rapper? Eh not as of right now but I am super excited to hear this album
T.I. is good, maybe even great… but he aint king of the south. There’s a few rappers more deserving of the title than him:
#1 – Scarface
#2 – Andre 3 stacks
#3 – Bun B
#4 – Big Boi
#5 – Luda
Two things. One, Pimp C said there can be more than one king of the South, on T.I.’s own album. Listen to that skit off the King album. Two, K.R.I.T. has a song called “King of the South” off Cadillactica, and T.I. didn’t say anything about it. And considering he’s one of the guests on this album, it’s safe to say he had no problems with that.
To me, KRIT is a mix of some Outkast, UGK, and 8ball and MJG. This dude is just straight up talented….
talent wise he would deserve it, but naaah he da new underground king, but southern king is Weezy boi, T.I, held that title just briefly between him and Luda,,,, Face, UGK and Outkast more like godfathers
i’m waiting on this album full 2 years. Bitch today is my birthday
King of the south is back
This shitt is fire. Love for Texas
Mississippi?
Love for south.
85 minutes and its a duble ablum? Dude could taken off 1 song. Or even interludes. And it would be 80 mins or less and be a single ablum. False profit. Just tryna pad his numbers. Theres 3 kings of the souf and thats takeoff offset and quavo. Dont nobody wanna here no knowledge, wanna hear about making it rain n shit.
fk your pea brain
Troll harder, buddy.
not done but this here may be a CLASSIC take notes…multi till the sun die ugk4life dungeon fam long live Pimp C
This album is damn good.
There are good songs on it but this 80 mins feels like 4eva… That is a mighty long time.
