B.G. has wasted no time since his release from prison earlier this month as he is already set to drop a new song with Boosie Badazz.

On Tuesday (September 19), the Baton Rogue rapper revealed that he has a new album ready for next month titled Goin Thru Some Thangs. Scheduled for an October 6 release date, the tracklist will feature contributions from B.G., the full extent of which is not yet clear.

Soon after the announcement, Boosie posted a video of him jamming out to his collaboration with the Hot Boys MC on Instagram, captioning it: “BG WENT CRAAAAZZZY !! B.G. recently discussed his plans to make his presence felt in music once again. Just a few days after his prison sentence concluded, 2 Chainz shared a clip of himself talking to the 43-year-old veteran in which the latter charted out his goals now that he has the freedom to continue his career in Hip Hop.

“If everything work out, man, I should be back on the road by November, man, December,” he could be heard saying through the phone speakers. “I’m lookin’ forward to it, but I’m boutta get in this lab – do me about seven, eight albums right quick, and just get to leakin’ that shit, man, puttin’ that shit out, floodin’ the streets.”

In 2012, B.G. was condemned to 14 years behind bars after pleading guilty to two counts of possession of a firearm and one count of conspiracy to obstruct justice stemming from a 2009 traffic stop arrest. In early September, he was released after serving the majority of his sentence.

Soon after, Birdman announced that the “My Hood” rapper will be rejoining the label he called home during the height of his career now that he’s a free man. During an interview on The 85 South Show, Stunna confirmed that the New Orleans spitter will once again become a member of the Cash Money family.
