Beyoncé is rumored to be readying a third Renaissance album — and fans think she’s dropping a huge hint about what direction it will take.
In an Instagram post on Thursday (February 29), the former Destiny’s Child singer revealed a bold new aesthetic as she posed for photos for CR Fashion Book.

The pictures show Beyoncé adopting more of a punk rock style with a multi-colored mullet, ripped clothing and a corset.
The mother of three spoke to the magazine about her hair change, saying: “I always wanted an asymmetrical cut in the ’90s, but my mother wouldn’t let me do it. So I’m having the time of my life at this shoot.”
She added: “Hair is actually the first step when I’m creating tours, films, and albums; being able to see the hairstyles first is what influences the sound, looks…everything.”
Because of the pictures, many fans have begun speculating that Renaissance Act III will be a rock album, continuing the trend of each installment following a clear and defined aesthetic.
Act I, which was released in 2022, was heavily influenced by dance and ballroom culture, while the upcoming Act II (out March 29) appears to be country themed.
