Benzino Publicly Shames Daughter Coi Leray After She Defends Eminem

The public discourse between Benzino and his daughter Coi Leray continued on Saturday morning (May 7) when the former Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta personality weighed in on her recent comments about Eminem.

Benzino, who wasn’t happy about Eminem’s induction into the 2022 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, was evidently bothered by his daughter’s defense of Slim Shady. Shortly after Benzino’s tweets, the Trendsetter rapper fired back, “I’m about love, equality, respect and forgiveness. I have nothing against Eminem, 25 years of my life all I know is he a very talented artist and actor! (8 Mile was great) Let’s build bridges and get over them before you burn the bridge and burn with it.”

Her father replied, “As far as the lil [parrot emoji] who keeps talking about love and forgiveness. Well there’s this word called ‘loyalty’ and a commandment that says ‘Honor thy Mother and Father’ As far as burning bridges, there no bridge bigger than the one you burnt with your own blood.”

Benzino continued shaming Coi Leray by reminding the 24-year-old artist most people don’t have her best interests at heart, adding, “One day you will realize that the people in these blogs comment section do not really care about you like I do & your label execs will have you sell your soul to make millions.”

He then claimed he would be taking a step back from her life with, “I LOVE & ADORE my only daughter but I will just have to do it from a distance.”

Benzino was clearly upset Eminem landed in the Rock Hall’s 2022 class and pointed out more seasoned Hip Hop pioneers and architects still haven’t received the honor. Eminem, on the other hand, was inducted in his first year of eligibility.

“Rock and roll hall of fame is just like the Grammy’s, they have no respect for our culture, Black or Hip Hop and if you don’t agree, you’re racist, period point blank,” he wrote. “Where’s Nas, Eric B and RAKIM, Kool Moe D, Epmd, Fearless Four, Fat Boyz, Lauren Hill, Little Kim, OutKast and 100s other Black rappers?? GTFOH.”

Coi Leray Defends Eminem Following Benzino Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Slander

Benzino’s latest rant is somewhat surprising considering he insisted his one-sided beef with Eminem was over just two months ago. As he tweeted in March, “To all @Eminem fans and Stans all over the world. The beef is officially over. I’m letting y’all know I have no hate towards any of his fans & recognize his contributions to Hip Hop. He truly is apart of the culture & 1 of the best to rock the mic regardless of his color.”

    2. Angry grandpa is just mad that Coi Leray put him in a retirement home for his own good.

    3. The Almighty R.S.O. album Doomsday Forever is a classic. Benzino does have that under his belt. so fuck yall lol

    4. Benzino is so jealous of Eminem. Benzino could only dream of being in the rock n roll hall of fame. Too bad his music was garbage.

    5. I was about to say this is a publicity stunt, but this sounds like 50 and his son. But she is trying tot keep it a buck with all the mainstream, powerful artists (ala Eminem) in the industry for her own career’s sake. Benzino should have a talk with her so they can sweep that shit under a rug

    6. Funny how so many black celebs complain about racism yet are racist themselves. Cant make this shit up

    7. I pained a W on one cheek and a W on the other. Meet me at the Red Roof Inn at 19 Commerce Way

    8. It’s all for show. There’s no father-daughter beef. At the end of the day they still sit around their fold out TV trays and microwave dinners and love each other.

    9. The talentless artist kissing ass and her transexual loving father tossing ass. This family is a joke.

    10. Benzino still so hurt that he never reached GOAT status like Em did. It’s obvious why that never happened, he sucks.

    11. This is ridiculous, let your daughter have her moments because many more will not be happening. Zino stfu and grow up, you are just a jealous monster who needs to be put to sleep.

      1. First he F’s up The Source magazine cuz of Em, now he F’s up his relationship with his daughter over him too..

        1. @ Tha R1._ exactly. Eminem ain’t even acknowledging him. Shit’s hilarious. Em at the crib eating cheerios getting his dick sucked and watching this dude self destruct.

    12. Benzino stop your shit with Eminem your just jealous your not on his level in the music industry and your daughter is old enough to make her own decisions. Deuces ✌️

    13. Yo Benzino, you an old-azz man. How about being emotionally mature and showing your seed unconditional love and patience?

    14. Damn.. He really can’t let this eminem thing go. He shouldn’t be saying things about his daughter. She has her own mind. He comes across as immature.

    15. this man literally disowned dis daughter cause she didn’t hate on Eminem? lmaooooooooo imagine being Benzino

    16. Benzino has a point. Eminem was inducted in his first year while overlooking countless other pioneers of hiphop. White privilege

      1. Dude, grow up, why bitching just to be on a fucking hall of fame, that bitch doesn’t provide respect from the peers, keep sucking D while we all keep celebrating Hip Hop not dying yet

      2. And Jay-Z was inducted before him. Was your energy the same then or are just a racist hypocrite?

    17. Benz made his millions with reality TV. And that seems to be all this is, reality TV just via a different medium. Yes, indeed, lots of artists are overlooked. Truth. But that doesn’t necessarily detract from ems contributions and talents. He brought a lot of names with him for every step of the way – including EPMD and The Fat Boyz. Just sayin
