Benny The Butcher Responds To Kyle Kuzma’s ‘Sickening’ NBA Rap Disses Complaint

Washington Wizards baller Kyle Kuzma took to Twitter over the weekend to voice his displeasure with rappers sneak dissing NBA players in their rhymes. The tweet quickly gained traction and caught the attention of Benny The Butcher who admitted the genre may be going too far when dragging athletes with their lyrical jabs.

“Yea I admit this look bad we big y’all up too we jus inspired either way,” he responded before teasing that he’ll be showing Kuz love with a bar in the future. “I got a positive @kylekuzma bar on the way.”

The exchange saw replies being flooded with examples of rappers such as Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Lil Uzi Vert, Pop Smoke, Chance The Rapper, Young Dolph, Joe Budden, Quavo, and fellow Griselda members Westside Gunn and Conway The Machine dissing ballers in their rhymes.

Freddie Gibbs even eviscerated the entire Los Angeles Clippers team after they blew a 3-1 lead in the 2020 NBA bubble Playoffs to the Denver Nuggets on Benny The Butcher’s “One Way Flight.”

“Hoes get fucked and sent home early just like the Clippers,” he raps.

Since being shipped out by the Los Angeles Lakers, Kyle Kuzma has played an integral role in helping pace the Washington Wizards to an early 11-5 record by averaging about 14 points and nine rebounds per game.

Especially with the worlds of Hip Hop and basketball having a ton of cross-pollination, the NBA champion is looking for rappers to lighten up on he and his NBA friends when it comes to throwing shade.

    1. References in hip hop lyrics are usually bases on facts. Especially with sports references involving stats and losses. Stop being so damn sensitive and play your sport better if you want to be referenced in a bar that describes something positive.

      1. My guy Phyfe did his thing but the 1st rapper to mention pro athletes was Kurtis Blow on “Basketball” in the 80’s. That sounds stillplays in NBA arenas today.

    2. These basketball players are so sensitive, that’s what you get when you’re in the public eye. Stop crying and start playing defense…LOL

    3. rappers shouldn’t be involved in spreading false hate against pro ballers who have to deal with all kinds of issues on the court. I never take the results seriously as it’s clear they can be manipulated even if they aren’t most of the time. but of course most of these rappers are clowns. talk tough but cry like btches the moment someone takes action. some of these ballers are crazy and will shoot up one of these mcs at a party if they don’t watch it

    4. This is another example of celebrities thinking their life is hard. Everyone’s life is hard, most people don’t have a stadium full of motherfuckers wearing your name on their backs (paying hundreds to do so). Yes celebs are people that work hard too, but the average person doesn’t get half the compensation a celebrity does for the shit they go through.

      1. if it’s so easy go ahead and do it – if not check yourself before you call out names. some of these rappers dickriders quick to have somebody’s name in they mouth clout chasing and politicking over things that make them look petty. if being a fan and a hater is the same thing don’t be surprised when a star hates on you
