Beanie Sigel returned to the stage Saturday (March 21) at the Wells Fargo Center when the show’s headliner, Meek Mill, invited him to perform a few of his own hits.
Its been more than three months since the former Roc-A-Fella rapper was shot in the abdomen near his New Jersey home. Four months prior, Beans had just come home from a two-year prison bid.
Meek Mill, who recently returned home after serving five-months for violating his parole, hosted a “Welcome Back” concert over the weekend in his hometown of Philadelphia. He invited Beans and several other Philadelphia natives – including Young Chris and Neef Buck – as special guest performers.
Beans and Chris spoke to Revolt after their performance about the occasion.
“This was a legendary tonight,” Chris says. “It’s their first time seeing Sigel in years. They ain’t seen my boy in years.”
Adds Beanie: “They can’t kill me. Them niggas can’t kill me. You can’t kill me,” he says repeatedly, as he flashes a grin.
