Philadelphia, Pennsylvania rapper Beanie Sigel has reportedly been shot in the torso while in Pleasantville, New Jersey. The Press Of Atlantic City reports that Sigel was taken to the Trauma Unit at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center to undergo surgery Friday (December 5) morning.
NJ.com reports that Pleasantville police Chief Jose Ruiz revealed that Sigel is currently in “serious” condition.
“All I can confirm at this time is that Mr. Dwight Grant was shot this morning after an altercation on Spruce Avenue,” said Chief Jose Ruiz, according to NJ.com.
Another man was injured during the incident and a third, assumed to be involved in the shooting, was taken into custody following a police chase.
