Bankroll Fresh was reportedly murdered today (March 4), according to various reports.
Atlanta NBC affiliate 11Alive News reports that more than 50 shell casings were found outside Street Execs Studio in northeast Atlanta. The site reports that a Rap artist in his twenties died while in transit to an area hospital, but that his name had not be released.
Attempts to reach Street Execs were unsuccessful.
Several Rap industry figures have reported that Bankroll Fresh was the victim.
“rip bankroll fresh. Condolences to his family and friends. sad sad news man,” DJ Drama wrote on Twitter today.
“R.I.P. Bankroll Fresh this is so sad,” Juicy J wrote.
Rich The Kid said that he had recently spoken to Bankroll Fresh.
“I just talk to bankroll earlier today , smh shit is sad . Niggas always haten,” he wrote.
“Man I’m a fan of Bru and always will be , I’m in shock at the moment !! Senseless deaths we just got to stop it , I’m speaking up now,” wrote 2 Chainz, who is among the artists who reportedly recorded at the Street Execs Studio.
Bankroll Fresh released his Life Of A Hotboy mixtape in September 2014. Last month, he released his “Poppin Shit” video.

I wanna speak to the newer hip-hop fans speaking out about the recent deaths of rappers. Being intelligent hasn’t been cool in hip-hop for long over a decade. Just a few movements I can think of include Love Is For Suckas, Snitches Get Stitches, Pro-Drug Dealer, Pro-Drug User, etc. If anything it’s gotten softer since violent rap no longer makes it into the mainstream. R.I.P to this young dude caught in the trap lifestyle. But don’t let nostalgia fool you into thinking hip-hop was once a better place. Lyrically, maybe, but the content has always been there.
