In light of the reports that the Australian government is considering denying Chris Brown entry into the country, the singer’s management has released a statement explaining the situation. The singer posted the statement on his Instagram and it was also published on the website for Australian ticket vendor Ticketek.
“Contrary to media reports, Chris Brown’s request to enter Australia on tour has not been denied,” the statement reads. “This request is currently being considered by the office of the Immigration Minister. We respect their right to review this request and have faith that a decision will be made with the full consideration of his continued personal growth, on-going philanthropic endeavors and desire to perform for his fans. Since 2009, Chris Brown has visited Australia on two separate occasions and is looking forward to returning in December.”
The government cited concern over the singer’s 2009 domestic violence case involving Rihanna when issuing its “notice of intention to consider refusal,” saying it might not grant Brown an entrance visa for his tour.
Brown is scheduled for four shows in the country in December.

It was reported that Chris Brown had his detractors in Australia for his forthcoming tour visit and now that may actually be reality.
According to the Associated Press, Brown, who is infamously tied to a domestic abuse case involving Rihanna, was officially warned by the Australian government that he is likely to be denied an entrance visa to the country. This happened Sunday (September 27) after former Immigration Minister Michaelia Cash urged Immigration Minister Peter Dutton to refuse the singer a visa on character grounds. The official document is a “notice of intention to consider refusal.”
“People need to understand if you are going to commit domestic violence and then you want to travel around the world, there are going to be countries that say to you: `You cannot come in because you are not of the character we expect in Australia,'” Cash, who is currently minister of women, said in a statement.
Britain, Canada and New Zealand have also refused to issue Chris Brown visas. Brown had planned a tour of Australia for December, which included stops in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.

Isn’t not good
Good, this failed drake wannabe needs to know violence against women has consequences. Drake rocks the world and chrris brown had been a drake wannabe since the degrassi days.
How is Chris Brown a Drake wannabe when 1. he never copied anything from him, and 2. nobody even knew who Aubrey was when he was on Degrassi. Also, Aubrey doesn’t rock anything but your wet dreams.
Chris Brown certainly knew drake from his degrassi days. Plus, you conviently ignore he abuses women and his fans.
He didn’t, though. No one did. He hasn’t abused anyone since Rihanna.
Drake wannabe? Stupidest thing I’ve ever read in the comment section on this site, and that’s saying something.
Chris brown totally wants to be drake with his “R&B” music (which, unlike drake’s music, is really pop). He wants to copy his moves and his acting but fails at that because drake treats women like human beings.
Chris Brown has always been R&B from the start. He didn’t copy shit from Drake (who’s the real pop artist). Drake doesn’t have any moves and Chris never copied his “acting.” Plus, Aubrey never treated anyone like a human being.
And you call chris browns beating of rihanna charitable? Drake never hurts anyone that hasn’t hurt him. Just because chris signed a record contract first doesn’t mean this ADD mess didn’t watch degrassi
No he have not
i think every one should give him a chance. we all do shit when we were young. should not be judge from the old you
I heard Chris Brown is gonna box a Kangaroo for charity
