Anderson .Paak To Make “Saturday Night Live” Debut In December

Anderson .Paak is kicking off December by making his debut on television’s longest-running sketch show. Saturday Night Live has announced the Aftermath Entertainment artist as the musical guest for its December 1 episode.

SNL unveiled Paak’s booking via social media. Actress Claire Foy, star of the new film The Girl in the Spider’s Web, is scheduled to be the show’s host for the upcoming episode.

Paak’s SNL debut will provide him with an opportunity to promote his newly released Oxnard album on national TV. The LP, which dropped this past Friday (November 16), is the Grammy-nominated rapper/singer’s first project for Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment.

Oxnard boasts some impressive features, so fans could see a big name joining Paak in New York for his SNL performance. Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Q-Tip, Pusha T and Snoop Dogg are among the guests that could make a cameo appearance.

      1. Seriously. The album wasn’t special at all in my opinon, and it seems they are trying really hard to make him popular. We want a Jon Connor album, not Oxnard. The song produced by Dre isn’t good. The beat isn’t anything special at all. Pretty sad that Dre keeps executive producing flops…

        1. I know Dre is credited as producer but he doesn’t produce anymore. All he does is mix. Focus even said Mel produced the joint.

    1. ppl are tripping. Oxnard is Fire.. it’s not musically as great as his last album ‘Malibu’ but that’s a classic. This is definitely 4 out of 5. This album is way more hype that his last projects. BTW he’s not a new artist, just a safer investment for AfterMath…paak already been killing it for years. Jon Connor is up next, we hope

    2. SNL performance coming in December. HHDX review of Oxnard coming in January 2019. Maybe bumped back to Feb if too many R&B albums drop in Jan.
