A$AP Rocky Speaks Out Following Prison Release: “This Has Been A Humbling Experience”

After four weeks in a Swedish prison, a judge allowed A$AP Rocky to go back to the United States while the courts determine the verdict in his assault case. The multiplatinum-selling rapper quickly hopped on Twitter to express his gratitude for all the support he received during the ordeal.

“THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART TO ALL OF MY FANS, FRIENDS AND ANYONE ACROSS THE GLOBE WHO SUPPORTED ME DURING THESE LAST FEW WEEKS,” he wrote in all caps. “I CANT BEGIN TO DESCRIBE HOW GRATEFUL I AM FOR ALL OF YOU.

“THIS HAS BEEN A VERY DIFFICULT AND HUMBLING EXPERIENCE I WANT TO THANK THE COURT FOR ALLOWING ME BLADI AND THOTO TO RETURN TO OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL OF THE LOVE AND SUPPORT.”

The comment section lit up with reactions from his famous peers. Tyler, The Creator, Macklemore, Big Sean, Pharrell, YG and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson were among the many to send their well wishes and celebrate his current freedom.

“JUST DOWNLOADED 3 HOURS OF SMACK DVD,” Tyler wrote in all caps. “NIGGA IM BOUT TO HOLD THE FUCK OUTTA YOU.”

Rocky’s situation is far from over. The judge is expected to hand down the verdict on August 14, meaning the A$AP Mob member would only have 12 days to get back to the the U.S. and then back to Sweden. Prosecutors have reportedly recommended a six-month sentence rather than the two-year maximum.

    He has pleaded not guilty.

    1. Yeah ….. humbling to actually be tried jsut for beating the sh&t out of someone who was irritating you.

      How about that.

    2. Aww yeah it’s already started. Can’t wait to read the rest of all the butt hurt losers and racists in the comment section crying because he got out. I didn’t agree with how Rocky handled it but reading how bad you lames wanted to see him stay in there was beyond pathetic. Soo eat it you sad sacks of shit. Go salivate somewhere else. Hahahahahaha

    3. A win for the real ones and a L for all u homos wishing he was held in jail for smashing this clown. Anyone that is dumb enough to follow a group a black dudes with security guards deserve to get they shyt stomped out
      LongLiveASAP bitch!

      1. Dude, relax. He’s out on OR. They’re going to sentence this dindu fruitcake. He’s going to do at least 6 months, maybe a year. The L is yours, dindu.

    4. He is out on OR. He will still be sentenced. They are saying a year to 18 months. Calm down dindus. Don’t start doing a touchdown dance yet. Your boy will be modeling gay clothing in an IKEA prison in a few months. Smiley face emoji.

    5. Once in US Sweden can’t touch him, Trump will block it. suspended sentence at best. It’s basically over

      1. Nope. Interpol/extradition. He could never set foot in the EU again. He would have added time for jumping bail and fleeing.

        1. I don’t think so buddy. They are not going to extradite a famous rapper over an assault charge. ASAP is free. He is never going back to Sweden. Even if he returns to Paris or the U.K. they wont send him off to Sweden. Hes out.

    6. The ungrateful sob didn’t thank President Trump? Obama would have left his ass to rot with his little EU buddies in Sweden. What a punk.

      1. Nice grammar. Did you drop out of the 5th grade? Despite everything Trump has done for black America (prison reform, highest employment rate in history), black Americans will never vote for him. Kind of a stupid point there. I never voted for the guy, and I don’t like him.
