With fans packing out arenas for his concerts, that also means listeners are running up the streaming numbers for 50’s music, like his 2003 debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’, which recently reached yet another Spotify streaming milestone, crossing the four billion stream mark.
The G-Unit boss took to social media to reflect on the accolade and give some advice for younger rappers. “See why I be saying take your time make it a classic. Over 4 billion Spotify streams,” he captioned the post.
The rewards continue to pour in for 50 as “In Da Club” also joined the billion club when it surpassed a billion Spotify streams back in June. “Take your time make it a classic then it won’t go away,” 50 wrote at the time.
Earlier this month, 50 earned his first diamond plaque, as that same song made history, becoming the 43rd rap track to reach diamond status.
