50 Cent has shared some short but solid words after receiving a plaque to commemorate his 2003 smash “In Da Club” hitting one billion streams on Spotify.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday (June 28), the G-Unit mogul shared a photo of the plaque while giving advice on how to achieve a similar feat.
“Take your time make it a classic then it won’t go away. #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi,” 50 wrote.

In other 50 Cent news, the Queens native recently agreed to settle in a lawsuit with Rémy Martin after the Cognac titan sued his Sire Spirits brand in 2021 over an alleged bottle design theft.
According to TMZ, an agreement was reached earlier this month, but the terms of the deal will remain sealed. Rémy Martin believed that 50’s Branson Cognac could’ve caused confusion in the industry due to their similar circle jewel-shaped bottles.
Reps for Rémy Martin relayed to TMZ that they’re relieved that the trademark dispute has been resolved and they respect 50’s foray into the spirits industry.
Reports emerged back in February that the two parties were close to settling the lawsuit, while 50 Cent previously accused Rémy Martin of being jealous of his brand’s success.
“They are afraid of me already,” 50 wrote in a since-deleted 2022 Instagram post. “Branson Cognac is the new wave. REMY is #2 Behind Henny and worried about Branson SMH I’m just getting started.”
Rémy claimed in the lawsuit that the Branson bottle was a “blatant attempt” to copy its X.O. design. The company described it as “nearly indistinguishable” from RM’s bottle, and referred to it as a “near exact reproduction.”
Sire responded at the time, claiming the design itself is “simply too basic to be locked up by any single company.”
“No brand or company has the right to exclude others from making or selling curved bottles for Cognac or other alcohol,” Sire’s attorney Reena Jain stated. “Nonetheless, Remy Martin is on a mission to eliminate Sire Spirits from the Cognac market.”
50’s Sire Spirits even filed a countersuit in 2022, which Rémy Martin looked to have thrown out. However, the courts sided with the rapper, believing his claims were sufficient.
He said this months ago. This site is seriously on par with all other MSM…. trash.
Debuts usually the money maker dre was in there somewhere
That’s great advice but….. today’s generation of rappers suck ass. Even if they took their time it would still sound like 💩
One of the most overrated rapper of all time. Unlike what many people say GRODT was an average album. The Massacre was better. But everything he released after that is straight garbage. And people are still ranking him in a top 5 or a top 10 list of the greatest rappers of all time. FOH. I swear people cannot think for themselves anymore.
Including you. Perfect name for you cuz The Game is a joke and just bitter that nobody is paying attention to him.
The kid said Massacre is better than GRODT lmao!
I wouldn’t take 50’s advice. He made 1 hell of an album that he spent the rest of his career chasing. Sure i liked his other albums, but lets be real.
