After MMA fighter Conor McGregor screamed “50 Cent’s a bitch” during a press conference on Thursday (July 13), 50 fired back at the Irish powerhouse on Instagram, writing, “what the fuck wrong wit this white boy, you fighting Floyd not me fool. LOL.”
Never one to miss an opportunity to plug his own show, he then posted a shot of McGregor getting choked out by fellow fighter Nate Diaz and the words, “Power about to get emotional so try not to get choked up” accompanying the photo.
The bad blood between the rap mogul and McGregor started to boil on Wednesday (July 12) after the fighter told Floyd Mayweather, “You can’t even read” during a Toronto press conference, an insult 50 Cent used in 2014 while beefing with Mayweather. 50 quickly took to Instagram to call him out.
“he shouldn’t have said that,” he captioned the photo. “I can get away with that, but Champ gonna kill him for saying that. LOL OH SHIT!!!”
McGregor has been criticized in the last few press conferences and accused of using racist language.
At Thursday’s third press conference, which was held at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, host Doug E. Fresh also caught some flak for his hosting of the pre-conference warmup.
The Mayweather vs. McGregor fight goes down on August 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

McGregor has a puncher’s chance, but in a boxing match he is at a massive disadvantage. He isn’t going to have more weapons in 10oz gloves than the likes of de la Hoya, Alvarez, Maidana, etc.
If he can’t land the big shots and become the first to KO Floyd then he will have no plan B. If it reaches round 5 it will be getting embarrassing as McGregor starts to pant because he can’t pin Mayweather down. Floyd will toy with him and pick his shots the longer the fight goes.
