50 Cent Bags On Ja Rule After ‘Stupid’ Onstage Stunt Backfires

50 Cent has taken aim at Ja Rule once again, this time ridiculing his longtime rival over an onstage stunt that didn’t quite go to plan.

During his performance at Nelly’s Hot in Herre Festival in Toronto this past weekend, Ja attempted to inject some theatrics into his set by being wheeled out to the stage on a stretcher by two paramedics.

The sound of a thumping heartbeat could be heard through the speakers before Ja, who was laying on his back, screamed out: “Ayo, let these n-ggas know who I am. I’m one of the three, n-gga!”

The Murder Inc. hitmaker then suddenly sprang to life and leapt off the stretcher as he dove into his 2001 hit “Livin’ It Up.”

As XXL noted, Ja Rule’s exploits didn’t quite get the reception he was most likely hoping for — among fans online, at least.

“Because his career’s on life support?? is that it?” one unimpressed Instagram user commented, while another wrote: “It’s the paramedics leaning over him like they picking out toppings for a subway sandwich and got 5min to get back from break.”

One critic even pointed out that Ginuwine “did it first,” referring to the singer’s elaborate entrance on BET’s 106 & Park back in 2003 where a team of doctors “resurrected” him from the dead.

50 Cent piled misery on Ja Rule by sharing a screenshot of XXL‘s article, as well as Ginuwine’s aforementioned performance, on Instagram and branding him “stupid.”

“Lol WTF [crying face emoji] I ain’t gotta say shit stupid [ninja]’s SMH [facepalm emoji] #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi,” he wrote in the caption.

50 Cent and Ja Rule’s bitter feud dates back to 1999 when Ja was allegedly robbed by one of 50’s associates. Things reached fever pitch in the early 2000s when the pair traded vicious diss tracks like “Wanksta” and “Loose Change,” not to mention actual blows.

Yet evidently 50 still enjoys taking shots at his fellow Queens, New York native whenever the opportunity presents itself. During a visit to the Minnesota Timberwolves in March, the G-Unit boss poked fun at Ja by vowing to lift the “curse” he placed on the team following his embarrassing 2019 halftime show performance.

“We had a curse! Somebody fucked up, and they let Ja Rule perform at halftime,” 50 joked while meeting and greeting staff in the team’s offices to celebrate their Sire Spirits partnership. “Now, what we’re gonna do is take the curse off!”

The Pain Is Love rapper fired back in an Instagram comment, writing: “#RENTFREE Only thing Curtis lifting up is his skirt… 50 been on my di*k he love my style lmao. “And now the curse has been extended.”

Despite the continued war of words between the two, Ja Rule made a surprising revelation about his relationship with 50 Cent in April, claiming things aren’t as hostile as people believe.

“If 50 Cent was to walk in here right now, what do you think would happen?” he asked during an interview with The Shade Room. “Well, nothing, obviously,” the interviewer replied.

“Exactly!” he shouted in response. “That’s what the fuck I’m saying. We don’t have an issue. We don’t have a problem.”

      1. Bro, boxing is for boxers. People who don’t box get tired after two ugly minutes of bad foot work and flailing punches. Besides that, it’d be a heavy weight former golden gloves champ (50) vs a welterweight with zero ring experience. Neither guy has been in a fight in 25 years, and they’re both like 50 years old. It wouldn’t be as cool as you think. Keep it on wax.

      1. You should sue your English teachers from when you were in school… you’d have a strong case
