50 Cent Clowns Basketball Great Dr. J Following LeBron James Shade

50 Cent isn’t allowing any LeBron James slander slide — no matter who the source is.

During a recent appearance on Posted Up with host Chris HaynesNBA legend Julius Irving (also known as the great Dr. J.) named his top two all-time NBA teams and created a fantasy team in the process. On his first team, Dr. J named Oscar Robertson, Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell and Elgin Baylor as his starters. For his second, he listed Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Karl Malone and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

But NBA superstar LeBron James was noticeably absent from the list.

According to Irving, he had a perfectly good reason for leaving him out, explaining, “He’s the guy who has led the charge in terms of super teams. When he put together a team in Miami, he put together a team in Cleveland as well, and he put together a team in Los Angeles. So, he can pick his own team. I ain’t going to pick his team.”

Despite Irving’s explanation, 50 Cent decided it wasn’t good enough and proceeded to clown the 71-year-old retired baller anyway. On Tuesday (April 27), the Power mogul shared a post about Irving’s comments and wrote in the caption, “sounds like old hater shit to me!” He added in the comment section, “It takes a lot of work and talent to be @kingjames if that wasn’t true we would have 3 or 4 of him, we only got 1.”

LeBron James currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers after stints with Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers.

The 36-year-old Ohio native is the only player in NBA history to have won NBA championships with three franchises as Finals MVP. He’s also competed in 10 NBA Finals, including eight consecutive with the Heat and Cavaliers from 2011 to 2018. His accomplishments include four NBA championships, four NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) Awards, four Finals MVP Awards and two Olympic gold medals.

2 Chainz Recruits LeBron James To A&R His Next Album

An avid Hip Hop fan, James served as the A&R on 2 Chainz’s Rap Or Go To The League album in 2019 and toyed with making his own album à la DJ Khaled in February.

“My love for music is INSANE!!!” he tweeted. “I think I’m doing to do a album. Oh no I won’t be rapping or anything like that. I’m not crazy, I know what I’m great at, but I tell you one thing I do have. So many friends that can. Thinking out loud!”

    1. Magic and Kareem are both widely consider the best PG and Center of all time, they played on the same team never once heard anybody complain. Dr J got Karl Malone one his squad, Malone went to play with Shaq and Kobe with Gary Payton, they just didn’t win. The Lakers and Celtics had super teams all throughout the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Barkley, went to the rockets with Hakeem, Drexler and Pippen they just didn’t win. Garnett and Allen went to a team with Pierce, rondo, Rasheed wallace. Rodman went to the the Bulls who already had Jordan and Pippen who was the best player and the best defensive player in the league along with the best Coach prob ever

    2. Their is no logical explanation for not having Mj and Lebron on your first team. You can argue who’s the best out of the 2 but they are clearly the best all time at their position. Bird got passed up by Lebron and now KD passed him too

      1. Regarding KD, we must be talking about statistics, because he hasn’t passed bird up in terms of having a bigger impact. While winning three mvps, he was the leader of those Boston championship teams. Changed the franchise when he was drafted. Kd had a good squad in okc, who even had GS on the ropes, before they choked away the 3-1 lead. Then we all know what happened next. Kd is a hell of a player, don’t know if I’d rank him above Bird though. LeBron has a better case as the best/greatest small forward ever.

        1. Lebron don’t have no case he is without a doubt the best SF ever it’s not close. I’ll give you the Bird over KD one, Bird impact was massive on the game no doubt. I was speaking from more of a talent level. I would take KD over Bird, but not going to argue anybody that wants Bird over KD. Bird has some talent also let’s not forget. Dennis Johnson, Mchale, Parish.

    3. 1st Team. Magic, Jordan, Lebron, Duncan, Kareem
2nd Team bad boys Thomas, Kobe, Durant, Malone, Wilt
3rd Team Curry, Jerry West, Bird, Russell, Shaq
Left off but close K.G, D.Wade, M.Malone, Hakeem, Harden, Chris Paul, Drexler, Allen Iverson, Big O, David Robison Would’ve Been’s if it wasn’t for Injury Bill Walton, Grant Hill

    4. Even if you felt like he’s played on Super teams look at his numbers 30k point all time, 4 titles, 4 finals mvp’s, 4 reg season mvp’s. That’s work period. Lbj shouldve been on his first team

      1. They are getting money
        Players are u. Control
You all had get teams as well
It’s just that you all had to go though the proper channel

    5. First team: LeBron, Jordan, Kobe, Duncan, Shaq.
Second Team: Steph, A.I., D.Wade, KD, KG Honorable mention: Dirk

    6. This is where I have a problem with some journalists such as Chris Haynes; when you’re speaking with someone and they come up with bogus claims, you have a responsibility to check them. Dr. J was on a super team himself. Perhaps remind him so he can expand his position

what’s the difference between an organisation putting you in a position to succeed and you taking the bull by the horn?

      1. Difference is the teams constructed the super teams ..lebron brings in players ..something no other so called team ur talking about did??? Blame the GM’s not Dr J ….imagine Dr J pulling Magic & Bird to go play with him….so its not the same thing , but I applaud the reach ? lol

      1. Fake news, Irving won a championship with Philly, with Moses Malone (who left my Rockets the year previously).

    7. The reason why lebron went to miami is because they had a super team in boston Pierce,Allen, and Garrnett.plus superteams don’t win championship it people playing together that wins chips.Lebron has single handle lead this nba to the next generation while people like kevin durant went and joyed powerhouses.

      1. What powerhouse did KD join exactly??? The ” Golden state warriors who won a the title a year earlier to a depleted cavs with no Kyrie or Kevin love in finals ??? KD on Oklahoma had that 73-9 team down 3-1 and then Westbrook tried to play hero ball….warriors 73 – 9 team was a great season record team but Cavs beat them in 7…and what happen the next 2 years When KD joined….he shut LeBron Kyrie Love down …KD was the MVP …the star of your so called super team ….& how has this super team been since KD left ??? Lol warriors minus Klay hovering around 500. Lol is klay Thompson the reason for them being super lol…..lebron is a great player …KD is just better than lebron sorry …..o

        1. Stop it man, KD is a all time great but he’s not in the discussion for the best ever when they debate is had their are only two players brought up MJ and Bron, sometimes Kareem, never KD. We’ve yet to see KD lead a team that wasn’t suppose to be in the finals to the finals, We’ve seen Lebron Lead a two different Cavs teams to the finals one early in his career, the other one after Kyrie was traded. Also last year the Clippers were suppose to get their based of most assumptions. Kevin Love and Bosh were always overrated big time, and Klay and Draymond were always underrated. And of course the warriors are around 500 with KD and Klay, if Klay was out there they would be a top 3 team in the west. Lebron is the best SF of all time easily, KD is second with a lot of space in between them, Before Harden went down the Nets look like it was more his team than KD.

    8. These old they made up superteams dudes killed me when they played on super teams themselves. Like Jordan and Pippen, Dr. J and Darryl Dawkins and Moses Malone, or Bird, Parrish, and Mchale weren’t super teams. Guess it’s okay when the man puts it together rather than these players figuring out who in the hell they want to play with on their own, lol. That is outside of that Durant hoe shit. He actually joined up with a team that had already won two titles without him.

    9. Different generations, different training methods blah blah blah. Ballers from the 60s 70s maybe 80s didn’t reach their full potential simply becoz the technology to assess, teach and maintain wasn’t there but they greatest players stood out coz they were talented asf

    10. anybody that can go to the ship half his career is incredible…all time great…LeBron is the best all around player in the history of the NBA…period!!
      Every game he’s breaking a record!!!✌
