21 Savage spent Father’s Day giving back to his community through the love of basketball.

On Sunday (June 18), the “Spin Bout U” rapper set up a youth basketball camp in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. The gathering was hosted by his own organization, the Leading by Example Foundation, in partnership with Freedom Is a Choice Inc.

Several professional ballers were present at the event: NCAA champion Flau’jae Johnson, Nassir Little from the Portland Trail Blazers, Jay Scrubb and Kevon Harris from the Orlando Magic, and NBA G League player London Johnson.

The camp’s purpose was to help aspirants between the ages of 10 and 13 refine their skills so they could pursue the sport at a higher level. Savage organized the meeting for kids with a background similar to his, and it was also held in the neighborhood he grew up in.

On Saturday (June 17), 21 took the stage at State Farm Arena for Hot 107.9’s Birthday Bash ATL concert that marketed “21 Savage and Friends” as its headlining act, leaving fans to guess who else might make an appearance at the event.

Judging by the crowd’s loud reaction, they seemed thrilled when the I Am > I Was hit “a lot” came on and J. Cole walked out onto the stage. “Just came to the A,” he said before rapping his verse on the track. “Pulled up on my n-gga, 21 Savage.”

Though the “Bank Account” rapper has been keeping busy, his itinerary is about to get even busier.

Following the immense success of their collaborative album, Drake and 21 Savage recently added 12 new dates to their joint It’s All A Blur Tour. The massive trek, which now boasts 54 dates, includes new shows in cities such as Toronto, Brooklyn, Inglewood, Memphis, Milwaukee, Glendale and Denver. The tour is set to commence on June 29 in Memphis, Tennessee.

The roadshow comes in support of Drake and 21 Savage’s joint album Her Loss, which arrived in November complete with cameos from Travis Scott, Birdman, Lil Yachty and more.

The project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart after earning over 400,000 album-equivalent units in its first week — the highest sales tally in Hip Hop last year.
