2 Chainz and Future are staples in the Atlanta rap scene though the two have rarely collaborated, unlike their other peers who rep the 404.
The Rap Or Go To The League author took to social media Tuesday (July 30) to dispel any truth to rumors that the two had any beef.
“People thought me and Bru had a problem w/ each other which is not true,” Tity Boi tweeted. “We have some the same street connections and spoke a lot behind closed doors!”
Chainz went on to announce that the two have a record together. He continues, “This song I’m droppin #DEADMANWALKING a celebration for the streets. 2 hustlas who made it out the mud w/o hating on each other!”
The duo appeared on a video set together with Future Hendrix saying, “This big big, huge, massive, long overdue … long overdue.”
The song was teased in an Instagram post with the College Park native declaring he would release the track soon.
Chainz’ last album was released in March and debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. Earlier this year, Future earned his sixth No. 1 album with the release of The WIZRD.

Hope they used invisible shovels to bury nonexistent beef!!
2-chainz is a very likeable person. I see how he’s willing to jump on records that aren’t traditionally his sound (De La Soul) and rip it a new one, shows that this guy is easy to work with and get along with. I’m not super crazy about all of his music, but some of the shit is heat and I can tell he has range. Salute to the brother 2-chainz!
