DJ Khaled is getting ready to embark on the rollout for his forthcoming 13th studio album, God Did, but first, he wants to remind fans how he got to this point.
On Wednesday (July 6), the Miami, Florida native took to his Instagram with a video celebrating his work throughout his 20-plus year career. People have criticized Khaled for not being a real DJ, artist or producer, but the We The Best boss made it loud and clear he’s no fluke with some help from some of his closest collaborators including Rick Ross, Future, Diddy and Drake.
The montage featured various archival footage that showed the artists mentioned above giving DJ Khaled his flowers over the years. Rozay and Future stood up for his production skills and unmatched studio energy, while Drizzy and Puff both praised his work ethic.
“We never fold and we never will ! I’m one of the greatest that ever did it,” Khaled wrote in the caption. “#GODID ! @wethebestmusic WIN WIT US OR WATCH US WIN .”
DJ Khaled has been on a run with content promoting his new album. On top of posting footage of his friends speaking highly of him, Khaled shared archival clips of him and his accomplishments throughout the last few years. With that post, the 46-year-old revealed the name of his upcoming album.

“‘GOD DID’ THE OFFICIAL ALBUM TITLE FOR MY 13TH STUDIO ALBUM COMING SOON I made this album for all the believers and non believers. They didn’t believe in us…do you,” Khaled wrote in the caption of his post. “#GODDID Scoring in collaboration with @fridayy @ivanberrios @wethebestmusic @epicrecords @rocnation.”

He has produced a song by himself since Fat Joe’s “The Profit” (featuring Lil Wayne) and Rick Ross’s “I’m a G (featuring Lil Wayne and Briscoe) in 2006. Everything else he kind of just hung around and got added to the producer credits just for being I’m the room. (Oh and intro for songs don’t count either so)
