Kanye West is back on Twitter with a vengeance. After arriving in Uganda, East Africa, ‘Ye uploaded a series of videos to his recently deactivated account all captioned with the words, “Mind Control.”
During one of the videos, Kanye claims people are trying to dictate what he says and does. He also says he just took an I.Q. test and his scores were genius level.
“I just want to talk about mind control,” he says. “You know, when people try to influence you through social media and try to tell you what to do or if you post something that’s positive on Instagram and it gets taken down, if it’s not a part of a bigger agenda, that’s like mind control. That’s the echo chamber. That’s them trying to control you … that’s the poison happening with social media.
“For me, I just got back my I.Q. score and they were Mensa level — 133, 98 percentile — straight up Sigmund Freud, Tesla vibes. I feel like when people tell me what to do, I feel like they’re touching my brain. Like there’s all these people — black people, people on social media, people trying to control us and make us all monolithic thought and they’re trying to control our minds, they’re trying to control my mind.”
He also assures his viewers he’s “not crazy.”
‘Ye then explains he’s attempting to buy back his publishing from Sony ATV for $8 or $9 million but the powers that be refuse to sell it to him. He insinuates he’s a slave to the music industry — much like Prince who famously changed his name to a symbol and wrote “slave” across his face.
“I couldn’t buy my publishing from Sony/ATV,” he says. “So, Big John, Marty, whoever is involved, I need my publishing. I got the money. I’m not going to say the S word. I’m not Prince. I don’t need to write it on my face.”
Finally, he explains how he’s like Afro-beat pioneer Fela Kuti, late reggae legend Bob Marley and Hip Hop luminary Tupac Shakur.
“The spirit of Fela [Kuti], the spirit of [Bob] Marley, the spirit of ‘Pac flow through me. We free. Our minds are free.
“Bob Marley, vessel. Fela, vessel. Ye, vessel.”
Kanye is currently in East Africa to finish his forthcoming album Yandhi. Now that he’s back on social media, we’ll likely be hearing a lot more from him before its completion.

Someone has been reading from Negronomicon waaaaaaayyyyy toooo much. #YeForInsaneAsylem
This guy is operating at super-genius levels right now.
That mind control shit actually makes sense. He hit with one of his strays. Bound to happen.
Nothing that bizarre about what he says. Stop pushing your agenda.
Kanye please stay in Africa and never return to the United States. Kanye is about to mess up all of that good E! money for Kim.
We dont want Kanye West in Africa. He is your disaster so he can go back to where he came from.
Disaster lol. He’s literally on a celebrity and national pedestal, pointing out that social media is a tool used to brainwash millions. Cmon man, anyone who denies this truth is lying to themselves. Other rappers work for the media and social media. Others call it out for what it is… actual evil.
My boy lil bone said he sucks now bad and I bileiv him
Your boy has the gayest name ever. No one cares about your imaginary butt live friend. Nerd.
He’s right social media is used as a weapon to manipulate you sheeple.
That’s like saying 2+2=4. People already know that shit. Yet people still act mindblown when this bullshit artist starts up with his bullshit. Now who’s the sheep?
Dance
He’s gassed in the sunken place
Fuck kanye
I agree. Black people need to realize that they do not have the right to think freely in America. We democrats, own you. You work for us. And you always will. God bless America.

Unfortunately the publishing belongs to Sony and not you so stop saying “my publishing.” They own the rights to that publishing. You agreed to it lol.
Just die already.
If he left kim, the neighbours gon be hearing Kiki are you riding.
Did he really compare himself to Pac.? If Pac we’re still alive what do you think he’d have to say about this Uncle Tom? Can’t say for sure but it would include the words “disgrace to your race”.
Pac would have instantly taken the invite to meet with Trump, and would have had an actual dialogue about problems with black America, the inner city and the penal system. Not liking the President is an easy excuse to not take advantage of an opportunity to bring about change and/or be heard. Too bad Kanye was on some fuckery and didn’t really address shit.
He need to go to FTrumphats*com if I order the one that says this hat covers my lobotomy scar ??? or the other red one that says “this hat is lined with tin foil”
I’m not saying I agree with all of kanye’s Points because a lot of it is just rambling. But the fact that we are so quick to judge each other and not allow everyone to have an individual thought is true, yes the social media thing is true but we continue to participate. It’s like crack to an addict , they know it’s bad but they continue to use because that high has become too familiar. I feel like I’m productive adult and found myself chasing for what we call “clout” to satisfy some sort of void. It ended up affecting my family life a bit so I decided to scale back and turn off all my accounts in order to allow my self to think “influence free” again. Like I said I don’t agree with everything the guy says and not a huge Kanye fan but some shit is true.
No one can stop anyone from thinking something. Social media allows everyone to share their opinion, he’s basically just complaining about how other people’s opinions disagree with his. I put something on social media other people will chime in that’s the point of the platform.
Yeah, Pac stood for being an ignorant hypocrite and repeatedly going to jail over some bullshit with that Dindu/victim mentality. Kanye hasn’t hit that slump. Yet.
I understand how Ye is trying to think, but why is he supporting someone who is totally indifferent of his views? Because he is just as bizarre? This is where I draw the line with Kanye. I’m not a follower either (as he always says, he’s not a follower), so I simply choose to not support Ye in this. It’s not unified, and it doesn’t make sense. But going to Africa, all this stuff, it’s all good. But then going to the white house, to shake a man’s hand and talk violence in Chicago, to a man that didn’t stand to shake your hand, and clearly doesn’t give a fuck about black people dying senselessly in Chicago, and supporting him wearing his gear, this is where I’m saying, “Ye, what the fuck is your stance?” GTFOH no more ye for me jack
When it’s all said and done history will be on Kanye’ side …..When he past watch all the dick riders claiming he was ahead of his time….lol
Bro I know y’all might not like Kanye, but the sensational news reporting should stop…..I love this site. But there’s nothing bizarre or strange about the video, he’s talking every peacefully and calm, so why title it with a negative light, shaping the perception of the content from the outset? That’s not fair
meh he said free larry hoover to the president in the oval office pointed iut hypocrisy if 13th amendment dont know how he got the invite i mean the last video & single was about effin prono pros & boom white house but oh well he not hurtin me & married a known pass around let ye be ye cuz its sure entertaining
just continue to chain kanyeezus he dont need all these freedoms and passes… let him get to the point where he spazzez please we might get ye back like that.
Maybe the hiphop cult(ure) and other leftist sub-cult(ure)s are too low IQ and too brainwashed to listen and understand what he is saying? LOL
