If the fallout following damning comments Funkmaster Flex made about Tupac seemed to have simmered in the past week, Treach of Naughty By Nature has brought new life to the drama.
On social media, the rapper and friend of Tupac’s warned of a diss track aimed at Flex, and Friday (May 12) a sample from the record, titled “Whoooh” has been released.
“EVERYBODY TIRED OF FUCK MASTER FLEX, MY NIGGA TRIGGA & NEPHEW GOT THIS HEAT ROCK SONG ENTITLED ‘WOOHHH’!!, RELEASED ON FATAL FRIDAY, & IT AINT FOR SALE, IT’S ON THE HOUSE!!, STAY TUNED!!,” Treach wrote in the caption to a photo of Tupac.
Treach did little to gloss over his fury on “Whoooh,” rapping about Flex having “a date with death.”
“Death to his soul, his turntables and his motherfuckin old stinkin’ ass grandparents / Cause they old asses had a orgy with Lucifer / Now you got a date with death from a Naughty nigga that’s shootin’ ya,” Treach raps on “Whoooh.”
According to a report from TMZ, Treach has also declared that Funkmaster Flex is “banned worldwide.”
Last week, Flex did little to pacify those upset with comments he made about ‘Pac accidentally shooting himself at Quad Studios. Instead, he informed those watching Instagram Live that “[Tupac] lied and Biggie died.”
Flex’s comments quickly caused a frenzy on social media and even briefly resulted in the #FunkmasterFlexChallenge, which poked fun of the DJ’s emotional moments during the livestream.
