The recent breakup between Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill has the internet buzzing about what really went down between the former couple.
Rumors of infidelity have run rampant, but according to one source, a third party was not involved in the breakup between the two rappers.
According to TMZ, a source revealed that the last straw for Nicki came during her December birthday trip with Meek to Turks & Caicos. The Queens rapper allegedly felt neglected when Meek chose to hang with friends — rather than her — during their island vacation.
Nicki reportedly blew up on Meek after approaching him about the matter, and Meek chose to bounce, leaving the island without his now-former boo. And that was reportedly the end of things.
The Philly rapper was also noticeably absent from the vacation photos Nicki shared on Instagram during her trip.
In one particular photo, which shows Nicki posing by the pool in a Versace bikini, she left the following caption: “Sex me on the beach in Turks & Caicos”
At the top of this month, following weeks of social media shade between the former couple, Nicki announced on Twitter that she’s now a single woman.
“To confirm, yes I am single. Focusing on my work & looking forward to sharing it with you guys really soon. Have a blessed New Year. Love u,” Nicki tweeted on January 5.
Meek responded by making fun of her shoes.
