New Music Friday: Kanye West, Earl Sweatshirt, Snoop Dogg, The LOX & More

Kanye West‘s new album Bully is finally here — sort of.

While the long-awaited project has yet to hit streaming services (surprise, surprise), Ye did premiere his 12th LP via a YouTube livestream (which can be watched below) about an hour after its scheduled midnight release.

Yeezy’s first album since he apologized for his antisemitic behavior, Bully features collaborations with the likes of Travis Scott, Ty Dolla $ign and CeeLo Green across 14 tracks — some of which mark the return of his classic soul-sampling sound.

Stove God Cooks and Busta Rhymes fans have also been left scratching their heads by the unexplained absence of All This For Me?, Stove’s new Swizz Beatz-produced album, and Busta’s “Talk Ya Shit” collab with J Dilla and Lil Wayne — both of which were supposed to drop today.

However, there’s still plenty of other new releases worth checking out this New Music Friday. Earl Sweatshirt and MIKE continue to stake their claim as rap’s best lyrical tag-team with their subterranean new single “Leadbelly,” The LOX make a welcome comeback with the reflective, R&B-flavored “Never Change” and Snoop Dogg reunites with Nottz for a bouncy new West Coast anthem called “Stop Counting My Poccets,” off his upcoming album and short film 10 Til Midnight (out April 10).

In addition to new projects from Central Cee, Juvenile, Chief Keef and the recently-freed Fetty Wap, Yeat continues to cement himself as a modern-day star with his sixth LP ADL, which boasts an insane supporting cast featuring the likes of Elton John, NBA YoungBoy, Kid Cudi, Grimes and even Kylie Jenner (make of that what you will).

        1. He went number 1 because he has delusional fangirls like you who love any bullshit he releases. That means nothing

Anyone with working ears and brain know that he hasn’t made a decent album in well over a decade

          1. Peoples make $90+ per hour on the platform. Very! You choose when to work, how much to work, and which projects you’d like to work on. Work is available 24/7/365. If you qualify for our long-running projects and 1am demonstrate high-quality work, there will be virtually unlimited work

available to you… check My Name

      1. Ye sells out arenas and LP’s around the world so far from flop same way Vultures was. You people just want to hate are you jealous and insecure is that it?

      2. The album has not been released and where did you listen to it? The livestream is not available when this was posted?

      3. It’s literally a mix of Dark Fantasy, Yeezus, and some Graduation if you don’t like that you probably never liked him and I assume you don’t like Donda or Vultures either so why say anything?

      1. Have you listened to him? Bro been using auto tune since the 2000’s helping pioneer it also have you listened to most modern rap it’s all tune. Are you just some ju bot

      2. What?! Every rapper uses it and Ye’s songs have used auto tune in the past 808’s was all auto tune, Dark Fantasy, Graduation, Yeezus, Donda even used it. Album sounds fine but as usual you boomer haters have to hate you know you don’t like it but have to chime in to make your insecure loser life feel important.

      3. How? Go listen to Yeezus, 808’s, Dark Fantasy and come back he’s been heavily using autotune from day 1 he pioneered it with T-Pain or does he over use it? Future? Yeat? Don Toliver? Carti? Uzi? Travis? Ken Carson? Destroy Lonley? Lil Durk? Sosa? NBA YoungBoy? Don Toliver top selling rapper right now.

        1. @Taox Is that why you’re posting under numerous names to pretend that everyone loves the horrible songs ? You’ve been on this website for years dickriding Kanye

    1. The Ye hate bots already here then again this site is controlled and run by the zionists same way sadly hiphop became

    2. Ye did not drop change the article and livestream gone also not the full album. The physical release is out not the true version;

      1. Carti better hopefully he drops the album this year and Ken and Destroy have a collab coming out. Trav teasing a new album. Hopefully Uzi drops too. Yeat is just not it. Hopefully Carti leaves UMG this year.

    3. Bully finally dropped officially. Now just need updates on Donda 2 and Vultures 2 then full releases of In A Perfect World, Yandhi, and Carti Ye. North album sounds great too hopefully the Travis collab album is this year and maybe Yage.

    4. Bully is so true Ye speaking his story and the zionists mad as usual trying to slander the King. Need a Ye and Lil Wayne collab album now.

    5. I’ve been stroking my dick all day to his new music

I just wish I was Ye’s little cousin. He can molest me any time he wants to
