NxWorries are gearing up to release their long-awaited sophomore LP this summer, and new details about the package have only further stoked anticipation for it.
On Tuesday (April 9), Stones Throw Records shared the cover art for Why Lawd? — a black-and-white long shot of two goats amid the expanse of a field.

Additionally, the label also unveiled the project’s tracklist, with guest appearances by Snoop Dogg, Earl Sweatshirt, Thundercat, H.E.R, October London, Charlie Wilson, Rae Khalil and comedian Dave Chappelle.
Vinyl pressings of the record will hit stores on June 7, and it will go live across streaming platforms on June 14.
The duo comprising Anderson .Paak and Knxwledge will be traveling across the globe this summer with shows in Milan, London, Barcelona, Paris, Madrid, Porto, and other cities in Europe; as well as sets in Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Niigata.
Soon after, they will return to the United States for performances at the Blue Note Jazz Fest in both New York City and St. Helena in June.

So far, they have released two singles from the upcoming album: “86Sentra” and “Daydreaming.” The new LP will serve as NxWorries’ first full-length release since their critically acclaimed 2016 debut, Yes Lawd!
A new collaborative project by both artists has been teased for quite some time now. Last year, the Silk Sonic star confirmed that same year that he and Knxwledge were indeed working on a new album.
“We’re working on a new one,” he told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. “I was just over there the other day. We’ve been getting it in. We’ve got a bunch of stuff that we’re really happy about.”
