Joyner Lucas wants to battle Tory Lanez to prove who’s better after the Canadian rapper/singer said they weren’t on the same level. Lanez gave his newfound challenger some props but dismissed the possibility of them being equals while livestreaming on Instagram, prompting Lucas to respond.

“The Joyner kid? He’s nice, but he can’t fuck with me,” Lanez said while boasting about his rapping and songwriting prowess. “Not on no level, period.”

Lucas reacted by posting the clip and issuing a challenge to Lanez. The creator of the viral hit “I’m Not Racist” wants the two to each make a song using the same beat and drop their respective creations at the same time and date.

He added, “if your not willing to step up and accept my proposal then don’t ever say no silly shit like ‘bar for bar Joyner Lucas ain’t fucking with me’ ever again in your life. tag the comedian @torylanez I love the confidence but stop it bro.”

Lucas is currently preparing for the release of this next project, ADHD. Lanez, on the other hand, just dropped a new album titled LoVE me NOw? in October.
