Various sources on social media are reporting that Dreamchasers rapper Omelly was shot over the holiday weekend. According to The Shade Room, the Philly rhymer was reportedly shot in North Camden, New Jersey and taken to Cooper University Healthcare.
Hours after reports of the shooting surfaced online, Omelly spoke out on social media.

In an Instagram post uploaded Tuesday (September 5), he seemed to allude that something went down, but was unspecific with his caption other than to thank his supporters.
“Took it & smiled special thanks to everyone for the support,” Omelly wrote.
The alleged shooting took place the same weekend Omelly’s cousin and fellow Dreamchaser, Meek Mill took to the stage at the annual Made In America Festival in Philadelphia.

Together, Meek and Omelly have appeared on a handful of tracks, including the now-infamous “OOOUUU Freestyle,” which took aim at The Game.
