HipHopDX Readers Rank Best Albums Of The Week: Statik Selektah, Beyonce, Wiz Khalifa

Statik Selektah's "What Goes Around" earns the top spot this week. Beyonce and Wiz Khalifa follow.

HipHopDX users were recently asked to rate the week's top charting Hip Hop albums

The Ranker list, which HipHopDX uses to assess reader responses below, calculates the votes based on a "thumbs up" and "thumbs down" system and it creates a list with the data users input. Ranker lists the albums from top to bottom, based on the total number of votes and regardless of how many thumbs up a particular album gets. The order of the albums featured on the lists fluctuates as votes are cast.

This week, Statik Selektah earned the #1 position on the fan-voted poll. His What Goes Around earned 127 thumbs up and 57 thumbs down. An anonymous reader said the following in the comment section regarding this album. "some great songs on that statik selektah record. real hip-hop not selling though."

Beyonce's self-titled album earned 123 thumbs up and 71 thumbs down. Meanwhile, Wiz Khalifa's Blacc Hollywood nabbed 111 thumbs up and 78 thumbs down. Slaine's King of Everything Else earned 48 thumbs up and 87 thumbs down. Iggy Azalea finished in last place with 57 thumbs up and 111 thumbs down with The New Classic

This is the problem with hip hop. Here is a producer who puts out real hop hop and there aren't that many left because you morons won't support them and buy or stream their music. But you will sit around on this site and talk about what garbage he is and criticize a real underground hip hop effort. Then the same people complain that hip hop is too commercial. I gave up producing hip hop because the "fans" don't buy shit and there is no support. Its an audience of cheap ass losers who sit around and say everyone is terrible and talk about how they can rap or produce better. Everyone is a rapper. This is a perfect example. Here is producer who is a legend producing sample based classic underground style hip hop and you morons say what trash he is.

Yo HHDX, iKKKy Azalea has already been exposed. 2 years ago she was trying to be a pop star making music in the style of Britney Spears. There is even incomplete music video of her trying to do pop. The industry gets her booty implants and hooks her up with that snitch from Atlanta to write her lyrics.
