Our economic issues are much deeper than simply international trade. Politicians use our current accounts as the main metric, but our capital accounts are still globally dominant. The thing I like about Bernie is that he isn’t talking about building walls and marginalizing populations. If Reagan gets to chastise the USSR for building a wall in West Germany, it’s wack to see the same party talking about building walls in America.
