    1. top 10 j. cole tracks without an album
      (NO ORDER)

      Grown simba
      return of simba
      heartache
      the autograph
      see world
      relaxation
      before im gone
      who dat
      home for the holidays
      blow up

this ‘heavy’ track is pretty weak, no surprise that its a throwaway, ill give it 2/5. some good barz in this track but no were nea his best throwaway music,

if i hadnt herd j. cole b4 and i listened 2 this track, i wouldnt listen to j. cole, i think he shoulda just scrapped this track, or sold the beat and got sum new treds

    2. Is this shit on the album? Come on…. this is simplistic and boring. Everything this dude makes seems so basic…. He take no risks at all and his lyrics, beats and hooks, “concepts” (and im using that word lightly for him) are amertuerish. He needs to find himself….. Live life a little more so he will have something to rap about, think outside of the box in terms of beats and lyrics, just do something different…J Cole has a few good songs already but none of them to me show us who J Cole is…. He’s just making a bunch of hallow music following his formula of a sound he heard as a child…It’s not his own style, he needs his own identity.

People are going to bash me for this and call me a “hater” but I’m just being real. J isn’t half as go

      1. this is possibly one of j. coles worst tracks, ITA A FUKIN THROWAWAY U MASSIVE TIT, ‘He’s just making a bunch of hallow music following his formula of a sound he heard as a child’…..lmao u chat so much shit, listen to j. cole – i got it, and other tracks, alot of other tracks are deep and shows who j. cole is..farewell for example,

fair enuf this is a pretty weak track, but hes done alot of sik tracks, i meen ALOT, iv got 58 tracks on my ipod of cole and they are all sik as fuk, hes a sik rapper, production is still decent, hes only guna get better when it comes 2 producing,

you kno fuk all about j. cole’s music and hiphop, this guy and kendrick are the next up

cant wait 4 cole world 2 drop, you will be suprised how wrong u wer and you will see how much of a bellend you are, eat dick and die…hope ur mum dies aswell…bit 2 far? nahh shes a slut

    3. *half as good as he’s hyped up to be, which Is prob why hes making this lazy, safe music. He’s getting positive responses from people who will dick ride anything that’s halfway decent because most hiphop sucks so bad

    4. NOOOO!!! Not J.Cole! For a while, it seemed like everything this dude put out was amazing… until this shit. WTF is he thinking!? Damn man.. I was becoming a huge fan until today.. What a sad dark day. 🙁 Leave this little kid shit for the skinny jean, bright colored sneaker wearing uhh… “guys”.

    5. “better stay up on your toes this is tic tac, but I’m a breath of fresh air”

this track ain’t half bad, beat a lil weak but he was looking for a radio single. lyrics were on point. Not too deep but still intelligent

      9/27, 200k please.

    6. so i see how bad people are starting to hate on j. cole needlessly.

      1. this is not making the album. soooo stop casting j. cole to the fire so quick. shit. if one song is making you change your mind. you are fickle.

      2. for you purists….dilla made a beat with videogame synths. chill out dissing the beat. or at least know what your talking about.

      3. its not cole’s best. but it aint that bad. 3 outta 5.

      1. shut the fuck up with this hate crutch bullshit. people are judging the fucking song. who cares if its not making the album u oversensitive bitch. it sounds bad… get the fuck over it.

      2. another sensitive stan calling everyone that doesnt like what they like a hater. get a new vocabulary faggot. why can’t people just a have an opinion and not be labelled a “hater” to you bitches? hating would be callling j.cole a faggot ass punk. the criticism ive read on this page is very reasonble. but I guess unless theyre screaming “cole world no snuggie big dick” its hating to you right?

    7. This song is horrible. I will not be buying Cole World. I dont care if this song is on the album or not.

Cole is wack. Deal with it. Its a Cold World.

      1. Right this brooklyn dude probably wearing a J.COle t shirt to sleep haha I hope its j Coles girl friend cuz this dude is straight defending JCole like he personally knows him cole care about money not u just the money u invest in him

      1. ^^^^ U sound Like a hater siddque brooklyn to birdman lol its yo opinion will that being said its an argument that cannot have a winner if u feel he’s better then u feel he’s better thats it LOL u see how quick these stan react wen u talk about their idols that they worship a lil to hard

    8. J.cole’s eyebrows found out that cole was on a budget for this album. that’s why when they go shopping they browse together.

    9. THIS IS NOT ON THE ALBUM THE ANY GIVING SUNDAY SONGS ARE MIXTAPE SONGS THE CLIP OF GODS GIFT SHOWS THE ALBUMS IS GOIN TO BE CLASSIC COLE WORLD

    10. haha the beginning sounds like eminem on just lose it.

Song was ok..still can’t wait for the album.
How much you think it’l sell?

      1. my honest opinion and im a huge J Cole fan but i don’t think he is gonna do big big numbers i think like 2 -3 hundred thousand its first week than slowy climb to 500k and maybe platinum by christmas or february cuz he has no songs on the radio whats so ever and remember I hate to bring race into this but more suburban kids buy albums and if he is not mainstream it will not sell to well but that don’t mean he is not ill cuz J.Cole definitely one of the best out right now but he’s loved by so many hippo fans that he will not sell to much. I know that line does not make since but every rapper who is hated on a lot sells extremely well (LIL Wayne, Drake, Jay Z, Kanye)

    11. dumb mother fucking people on this page stupid mother fucker he said it so many time its not on the album. it just something he puts out for his fans every sunday….Most of you bitch niggas are dick ridders im pretty dam sure you mother fuckers are gonna dick ride him when he sells more then what you expected….herb ass bitches anyways COLE WORLD !!! Hatred is flattery His glad to be hated.

      1. no one said people cant have there opinion im just saying to people that are saying this song better not be on the album…nigga he said it its not going to be dumb ass..na doggy are u mad??

      2. ^^^^^^^^^ Lol Are You Mad Bro haha u do sound a lil mad but people all have opinions some ignorant others more intellect but at the end of the day its all about what u like if i said i like pepsi would u go out your way to just hate on that like naw coke cola way better than pepsi. Pepsi is whack as fuck that shit is gay how can anyone love pepsi. Pepsi aint real pepsi aint hood what kind of soda do u niggas drink if u think pepsi taste good. Thats kinda of the arguments on this site sound like only take out pepsi and put in any rappers name why has everyone become a critic like they wait for every new song to come out and literally digest the whole damn thing y’all take the fun out of listening to music because you guys try to form the opinion of sum one else if u don’t like the song its cool just move on no need to spread the hate or get mad at sum one else who does kind like that pepsi vs coke cola i was talking about just hear the music and appreciate it for what it is enjoyment

    12. I don’t know why you guys keep saying that this song is okay, compared to all of the songs I heard from him the songs as a whole are always “just okay.” But you keep saying you can’t wait for the album. I’m pretty sure the lyrics will be dope and have some decent beats. But I won’t hold my breath for him making a Get Rich Or Die Trying esque album when it comes to great hooks and what not. His worst enemy is his dry lifeless sounding voice. I never heard him make a song that made me want to play it over and over.

      1. speak for your self nigga…where is 50 now?? alright then i mean i have much respect for 50 his one of my fav but dumb ass people compering this nigga Cole to every artist in the world chill let the nigga be if you dont enjoy his music to bad for you nigga maybe u need to find a new artist to listen to.

      2. “His worst enemy is his dry lifeless sounding voice. I never heard him make a song that made me want to play it over and over.”

Im guessing you never listened to Lost Ones..

    13. Hot track! Just cuz its not one of his greatest dont give anyone a reason to hate. JCole said it himself in an interview that he has to scatter in a few club bangers to attract a wide array of fans, and seems like he’s doing a good job!

    14. You guys all stupid. Yeah I said it. Drake has Birdman, Wayne, Rick Ross and Khalid to back him up, tell me who’s been doing Cole, Cole been doing all this by himself down to the production. Ya’ll ni**as think again when u say Drake’s better than Cole, u a’ll suckers for love. Coleworld ain’t no one better

      1. Easy Romantic^^^^^^ Lol relax kid how lame does that look that u have to say weezy ross and khalid back up drake and no one backs up j cole lol sounds like a whining bitch Cole is a good rapper so is drake and a lot of others if sum one thinks drake is better then thats their opinion no need to whip out the tampons and have a bitch fit lol if i said vanilla is better then chocolate who are u to tell me other wise so don’t take it personally when some one favors an artist more then the artist u favor u don’t know JCOle personally u only know him through music no need to defend him he is his own man – Peace One Love

      2. People just don’t understand the difference between Cole and Drake. I respect both as artist, would be great to know em’ personally but I got my own life to live. When someone say something like drakes better I just don’t understand cuz Cole been putting out real shit like life though and shit. Cole is like and independent artist making out there like Tech9. They both grew out the game differently and I respect the way Cole did it. That’s how Jay and Nas did it with no big names!!!!

      3. Look You are a Fan and understand you completely what your trying to say but u cant say one is better than the other there is no fact to it you favor J Cole because of the subjects that he raps about, but that does not make him better than drake or any other rap artist that is primarily just your own opinion like I said before if I like vanilla ice cream and you like chocolate ice cream and i say vanilla ice cream is the best flavor who is gonna win this argument no one will its a matter of opinion i hear what your saying but still J Cole and Drake are 2 different rap artist who appeal to 2 different crowds and it is not wrong to like both – Peace One Love

    15. this guy sucks man … not even better than Kendrick Lamar, even Drake is better than Cole as an artist.

Cole’s shit is just uninspired and boring.

    16. Cole is a great story teller his verses are on point but think he needs to work on his choruses this beat is dope but didn’t do his lyrics justice cuz i cud see other rappers tearing this beat up but yea back to at hand his choruses need a lil help 5 stars tho cuz he is doing his thang and living his dream fuck what a hater say

    17. this negro cole still underground on a major label…if Big Sean didn’t do more than 100,000 in week one, and Tyler the Creator didn’t either…each having more promotion and singles that were actually in rotation then you shouldn’t expect big numbers from dude. He’s talented but has zero charisma and no star appeal. I project about 80,000 at best week one unless somethin’ MAJOR happens in his promo game between now and the 27th. He’s one of my favorite up and comin’ rappers right now but even if you dick ride this nigga you have to still be real with yourself…outside of hip hop sites people still don’t even know dude exist…after numerous mixtapes/videos/appearances.

      1. Finally a comment from someone that knows something about the industry. Respect…Cole is hot, but idk what’s up with the beats he’s been picking. His ear from the mixtapes was better. Hopefully it isn’t the label destroying what made the kid a breath of fresh air.

    18. Idc how much he sells, because that doesn’t define the quality of album….IN MY OPINION Carter 4 was ass cheeks but it will probably sell like it was free lol because ppl can get enough of weezy. First verse on this track was ridiculous lyrically… and if he dont go platinum it doesn’t mean he failed 🙁 Rick Ross never went Platinum but his albums all went number 1. Rozay sippin his lemonade

    19. Personally just not feeling this dude. Not that he sucks or cant rap. But Im just now excited to hear anything new from him. And when I do hear something from him it like….meh….I could do without this.

    20. If Snoop came out with Deep Cover today he would STILL eclipse most MC’s buzz including Cole. When you got it you got it and J Cole has work to do.

    21. im a fan of j cole mainly from his older mixtapes. to be honest i expected his album to be a bunch of radio trash but this is better then i expected. i wouldnt call it great but def not bad.

    22. Man I read the comments before I heard the track and was like this shit must be wack but after playing it I had to question what y’all heard the beat may not fit the lyrics but he spit sum dope shit
Its sad how one person post a bad comment now everyone has to make a bad comment. Look how easy it is that people have control over you. Once one person says its wack than the rest say its wack because your scared to say u like it y’all sum lames not every song that he will record will appeal to everyone 5 stars P.S – I got mind control over you remember that

    23. I’m all for different, creative beats….but these verses seem to classic/powerful to be thrown on this mario ish. like the digital sound is dope but it lacks a little more depth, maybe some bass. listening to this reminds me of when one of my ipod earbuds don’t work and i only hear half of the music

    24. THis beat is a lil…”hmmmm”, altho not the WORST beat i heard.

But fuck the beat…man Cole went hard on the lyrics, and despite the beat, his flow was sick which makes this track hella LISTENABLE.

THis is why Pac’ is my favourite rapper of all time. Coz Pac’ could jump on any beat and still make you listen. Ima huge COle fan, n this nigga is going that way fo’real.

And that is the difference with the last 10 years of HipHop, coz we’ve had 95% wack rappers come out who are new to the game, who call themselves MC’s, but who cant spit a bar to save their lives. The media perpetuate that shit, because the “powers that be” dummed down Real rap music, coz of its social & political influence it had. Let’s be honest, the alst 10 years been bullshit. We’ve been relying on a handfull of legends to bring us new shit….which aint always worked – coz everybody is human.

Thats the reason, we switched the importance from a rapper being an MC, a poet, somebody who could rock the mic with crazy wordplay, to listening to the BEAT.The beat has become more important than the rapper, which is why the last 10 yeears has seen a major drought in terms of Real rappers that know how to spit. Lemme jsut say 1 thing…you need to be smart, intelligent and down with alot of aspects of life to be a GOOD rapper. and if ya’ll look back, you’ll see that your top 5 rappers had that. (im talking about a proper top 5, non of those bullshit lists).

This is why im eyeing Cole to see how he makes moves. Is he gonna cave to the market or not? Or is he gonna tell the market wassup?? Coz this nigga is on the way to bringing that shit abck in hiphop, where its about QUALITY not QUANTITY. Quality rappers who actually put time and effort in their lyrics and not spit out some retarded lines that sound catchy. Dude is raising the bar for new cats that want in, and thats been needed BIG TIME!

Big Time props to this dude man…HUGE PROPS. I hope Cole World gonna kill it, n that all them commercial radio bullshit gets washed outta the way, n we start bumpin some real shit from now on!

5 stars, not coz of the beat, but coz homie went in Hella hard with the lyrics and flow.

      1. Can we stop? We will we admit that Pac at best was average lyrically? It’s true. I know you’ll want to fist fight me for that.

You felt Pac’s pain. His sincerity. But he was not strong lyrically, therefore he can’t be the GOAT. Period.

      1. Do you know what “cutting room floor track” means? Obviously not. It means a track that got cut (discarded) from the final version of the album.

    25. THIS DUDE’S PRODUCTION IS TIRED, HIS FLOW IS TIRED, HIS SHIT WILL FLOP LIKE FUCKING SANDLES AND YOU MORONS WILL MOVE ON TO THE NEXT LOW KEY RAPPER, BECAUSE THATS WHAT YOU HERMITS DO.

    26. Fam has it…It is what HOV has Wayne has and so on. But yep there is a But(Pause). Dude fucked up by signing to Jay, Hov signs cats that he sees as not comp…more like a threat. No ever notices because there are “up and comers” look at Young Chris say what you want but dude was/is DOPE; he was on the put on the self, J Electronica? Where is Dude the game needs him. Yeah but he signed Nas…More like Son ed homey. Any way i don’t want to get all the way into it, because i know you fuckers don’t read… dope song could have been better. Hopefully just a teaser. And I’m out

      1. So let me get this straight… Jay signs Cole gives him front money makes him the artist on the new Roc Nation label because he doesn’t view him as “comp”?

Did you read that before you sent it? Why would he signed someone to lose him money? Rethink that yo…

GO TO ASCAP AND CHECK FOR YOURSELF

50 went on to claim he wrote on more songs on Game’s The Documentary than he was credited for, including “Church for Thugs,” “Special” and “Higher.”

“I did so much on his record, I did six records,” 50, who is featured on The Documentary’s “Hate It or Love It,” “Westside Story” and “How We Do,” scoffed. “To take the time and energy from what I’m doing on my record and create his record, then have him go off at his mouth like that and be disrespectful … “Game had actually been on AftermatH for TWO YEARS before they gave me the opportunity to do the project with Dre,” 50 told MTV in January. “I think creatively they were stuck a little, but then when I was brought in we were able to add new energy. They got excited about the project, brought him out, we recorded like nine records at the house in Farmington, [Connecticut]. He went back to Los Angeles with the records, Dre liked them, and I just got him re-motivated and he went in and finished up the album.”The Game and 50’s marriage was never a natural union to begin with. Game was originally signed solely to Dr. Dre’s Aftermath imprint, working on his album for a couple of years before Interscope Chairman Jimmy Iovine proposed bringing Game into the G-Unit fold. Iovine talked to Dre, who called in 50.

GAME IS A TRUE STUDIO GANGSTA

    28. I feel bad for J.Cole because if he signed with G.O.O.D Music or Cash Money he’d get good money behind him to market his music, for all of Jay’s skill at the end of the day his self centered, and doesn’t know how to promote his own guys – J.Cole is possibly the next kanye…He needs dame just like the way kanye got dame…..

      1. You got a point, but Cole himself said he didn’t want the co-sign from anybody, just the Jay verse for his album. Same reason he produces most of his own beats he spits on. He wants the success on his own.

I’m all for that, but I think that most people are brand name shoppers for the most part. I mean, the only reason Doggystyle sold so well imo was Dre’s endorsement of Snoop on The Chronic. I also think it’s horrible that Tech N9ne will probably gain half a million new fans, only because Lil Wayne put him on his album.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I dig both Snoop and Tech, much respect to both, but the difference is Snoop sold millions out the gate, while Tech has been tourin his ass off for more than ten years building a devoted following.

On a side note, one of my favorite popular authors is Stephen King. He wrote a collection of short stories and novels under the name of Richard Bachman. Now, even though he had the same “flow” his books under this pseudonym sold an astonishing 20-30 times less than when he re-released the books under his own name.

I guess all I’m tryin to say is that I get his stance, but I think your right about what you’re sayin. Theoretically, I think that if Jay had put him on Watch the Throne, it would have been the ultimate promotion, especially with Cole World less than 3 months away. At least Jermaine got the skills to float on his own, he just might have to take up a heavier touring ethic…..

      2. Your right in a way maybe he remains the J.cole that collects real solid fans on the way and doesn’t push a mil a week, but still selling well won’t erode his art, might even take it to the next level like Kanye – J.Cole needs someone to really jump on his project and push it hard, and Hov just ain’t doing that, he needs something a bit like what lil wayne did for drake, what Ross is doing for Meek and how Dame really jumped on Kanye’s project…

Even after Jay made $37 mil already this year – Cole’s videos still look like he made them off his own purse, I mean j.cole is suppose to be his marquee signing! #Come son

    29. I can picture the vid for this – Black and white, in the studio, liquor and weed everywhere, working hard in the studio, rapping to this with his niggas and a couple of hot groupies seated bumping their heads to it, a couple of shots with hov n drake in the studio. Game over, cole pick me up and put me on your team!
