Eminem – Ballin Do Me

This sounds like a total reference track for another artist as Em is rhyming in a completely different flow.

      1. Maybe if you like completely redundant pop friendly soft rock same-song-same-flow B.S, I can see how you’d like Recovery…

Sorry but, I just don’t see Recovery’s appeal. It’s the only Eminem album, Encore included, that I find almost totally unlistenable. With the exception of like, No Love, 25 to Life and Space Bound. The rest is just garbage to me.

I find this song sort of funny though. Not sure if Em was actually trying to be serious with it, or if it’s a reference track. Regardless, it made me chuckle.

      2. disagree wit u but respected ur argument til u said space bound is ur favorite on recovery… u say u dont like his ‘pop’ shit on the album but thats gotta be one of the most pop songs on the album. btw, em’s ‘pop’ shit is still way better and way more lyrical then ne other mainstream rapper.

i liked it i think seductions his best on it… its obviously not as good as his old shit but i mean ppl gotta realize the dudes pushin 40 now he cant be sayin some of that shit nemore.

      3. I personally kind of liked the album although it was different but it didn’t have the “listen to it over and over again” feel to it like MMLP and The Eminem Show had…I thought On Fire & Won’t Back Down had those vintage Eminem “wow” lyrics, Going Through Changes, Space Bound, & Almost Famous were different from what he does but turned out to be great songs, and the rest was ok but got old quick…To me a 4/5 overall album compared to what else is out but a 3.5/5 based on my own expectations of what he could have done…

      4. You’re abosolutely right about Space Bound being really poppy. And I agree. I don’t know, I just thought the sample in that song worked rather well. It’s not really my favorite on the album, No Love probably is, but, I dig Space Bound regardless. I thought it had a cool sound to it.

And, to be honest, Seduction is probably my LEAST favorite on Recovery. To each his own though.

I concur that he is getting older, and that means his sounds going to change, but I just wish it wasn’t so blatant. It just seems strange to me that he went from Relapse, which was totally produced by Dre, and featured only Dre and 50 Cent. And when Relapse didn’t get good reviews, then all of a sudden Recovery came out a year later with Rihanna, Lil Wayne, and all of these well known pop producers and what not…Just seemed like a bit of a sell out move to me. Maybe I’m alone in thinking that but, that’s my take. I just don’t like the direction he’s taking now.

      5. Josh, maybe he was so fucked up when he was making relapse that he wasn’t able to work with anybody besides Dre and 50(or they weren’t able to work with him). As far as the production, maybe he just wanted a different feel to the music. I would always prefer an all-Dr.Dre produced album but relapse-era obviously wasn’t a great one for Em. If recovery was Dr.Dre produced it would be crack! But yeah, I can definitely see where you’re coming from it can easily be seen as sell-out move.

    1. haha, this made me laugh, aswell as ‘wee wee’. Listen to the following, they are Em leaks and are pretty hot.
      get money 2008
      emulate 1.3.2005
      goin crazy 10.29.2010
      wee wee 8.1.2008
      goat 9.5.2007
      the apple 1.7.2007

    2. I love this shit. Oh man, this and “Things get worse” and “Fly away” have been some of the best shit. He’s back.

    3. Fuck that high ass pitched voice wtf is that about? i dont care how em lyric were this song is wack bc of this fucking voice.. 1 stars

    4. He sounds like kanye when his mouth was wired shut. I love eminem and until now have never had a problem with his voice….lets hope this ends here.

    5. Okay did anyone laugh at the high pitched part. I couldn’t even finish listening to this song after that.

And there is no way this is better than Recovery. Recovery wasn’t perfect but it was good album, this is just comical

    6. you guys are fools. The fact that Em just signed Yelawolf, Rick Fouche and Slaugtherhouse means Shady is back!

    7. Man im a huge Eminem fan, but just to show i aint a d*ck rider- I dont really like this track. This, and the other 5 tracks sound Pre- Relapse. He Obviously made them during his drug binge before he overdosed. Em’ stepped his game up after these tracks, so dont come in thinkin this is how he rhymes now. You can download all the recent leaks at diversehiphop.com

      1. I think its the opposite. I think these wack songs he’s been putting out lately are so weak because he was sober as alterboy while he was making ’em. His drugged up shit is flame.

    8. All these have been leaked from Koolo
      up at studioleaks.info
and there’s 8 songs on the EP, not 5.
Just so you people know, the sites have all been crediting themselves instead of the actual site.

    9. i dont think major hip hop websites should be allowed to let out songs like this that aren’t done or reference tracks, im sure em didnt wanna release this

    10. i do wish his voice was more like this tho it sounds so much better without all the new school yelling, accents, and sound effects.

    11. Yo, but this is Eminem’s niche though, making fun of other peoples styles but doing them better without even trying. It’s kinda like what Kool Keith does. I like this shit, I don’t like all his serious “I’m taking my life back” shit, it’s sappy and forced. I mean, either way, this dude is lyrically deadly, that goes without saying. I think this song is inspired by “Straight off the Block” by Bobby Digital.

    12. yall dumb ass niggaz need to know real shit… this aint em’s shit.. this em spitting a rhyme he wrote for some other niggaz… fucking clown ass niggaz.

      1. Dumb niggas always think everyone else is dumb besides them. This isn’t a reference track genius, it’s just Eminem fucking around and having fun. Who would really be able to pull this song off besides Em? and if it was a reference track, why would he do all that extra shit at the end? You’re not as smart as you think son, fall back.

    13. I love this shit.. I’ve been saying it for years.. Houston and there candy paint destroyed rap.. and he’s just proving kids born after 1990 listen to beats and hoooks.. and not lyrics and metaphors.. Love this shit.. I dont like em.. but i like em more then wayne,ti,chamellionaire

    14. THIS IS HIPHOP!!! FUCKERS DOING 1000 REMIXS OF THE SAME DAMN MOTHERFUCKING SONG… WOO GREEN AND YELLOW!!

EMINEM COULD MAKE A SONG RAPPING LIKE WAYNE AND DESTROY HIS CAREER.

ALTHOUGH THIS IS 100% 500 DEGREES/90’S CASH MONEY LOL

    15. “Custom kit custom errythang, what’s that? Custom mustard stain.”HA! This is a funny track I’m glad he doesn’t take music as seriously as some ppl on this site do! lol

    16. Sounds like a Houston rapper song.. Ems doing a lot of Southern rap dissing lately.. I respect that.. south is fucking up the game

    17. When he says “I ain’t waste 9 bullets on you to not sing no hooks” It gave me an idea. I like 50 too but if it doesn’t work out between aftermath and g-unit I hope 50 disses Em and Em comes out with some good ol diss tracks… Don’t lie that sh!t would be nice..

    18. Yo like 6 other tracks from Em been released! A track with D12 and one wiv Obie included. And out of all the tracks DX picks THIS one!?? the one that’s obv not for real. wtf is up wiv that. Studioleaks.info ! check them out. on G.O.A.T Em disses Lil Wayne and Paul Wall!- Speakin truth and probly recorded when he said he was thinkin of dissin rappers b4 he came back.

      1. are you stupid em not like them wack ass rappers who rap like this he was just making fun of them

    19. You have to understand that this is some ole Em parody rap. This shit is funny as hell. I rarely listen to entire songs. This made me listen for the next punchline all the way thru. Fuck wit me!

    20. Nah He isn’t dissing it. It’s a jump off point. Toward the end Ballin’ uncontrollably means sobbing uncontrollably.

    21. HIPHOPDX Please stop releasing these wak ass Em tracks. Seems like He was just having fun with these tracks. Give us an Em track if it’s Super Old or Super New. But his relapse phase? No thank you

      1. man i think hes jus havin fun on these tracks, n i still dont understand why ppl are hatin on his relapse shit, the wordplay n rhyme schemes are fuckin amazing all throughout that album

      2. Yo, it’s okay for a rapper to actually have fun on a track. Everything doesn’t gotta be so fuckin’ serious all the time. We NEED more of this shit, instead of rappers bein’ full of themselves. Em is just clowning that whole ridiculous ‘baller’ culture, and meanwhile still being swift with the rhymes.

    22. Custom-fitted, custom-kitted wood grain
Custom everything, what’s that on the seat? Custom mustard stain

      HAAAAAA…..

    23. Ok let me educate you morons who obviously don’t understand the description to the song. It’s a REFERENCE TRACK!! Em wrote this song for another rapper to spit. Judging by the flow, it sounds like it was written for a southern rapper. I bet most you dorks didn’t know that Em ghostwrites for your favorite rapper.

      1. It’s not a reference track man, it’s just a parody track. You really think some other rapper is gonna talk about making a bitch suck the farts out of his custom mustard stained car seat? It’s just Em fuckin’ around and having fun…and probably high as shit. He doesn’t write for anyone except Dre. You can’t name one other rapper he writes for, because he doesn’t.

    24. HaHa who cares who the song was meant for, he’s the one performing it. I like hearing tracks that he does just to have fun with them, and hearing eminem spittin rhymes southern style…..hilariously priceless

    25. He Def wrote this for another artist, sounds like something Paul WAll would spit. Someone from the Dirty yah dig

    26. This is NOT a reference track. It’s just Eminem fuckin’ around with a new style. It’s a caricature of southern rap music. He doesn’t write for anyone, except Dre sometimes. Who else would spit those lyrics even if he wrote them for ’em. And if it was a reference track it would be way more bare-bones than this, it wouldnt have all the adlibs and extra shit in there. This is Eminem all the way, it’s not for nobody else, oh and its fuckin’ brilliant. First listen I was like “Nah, Em went too far on this one”, but the only way make rap music realize how ridiculous it has become is to pick it up and put it in the mirror. To me, this is Em at his nicest. I’ll take this over his reflective shit anyday, because I feel like THIS is how he really feels. If people were less sensitive and were ready to hear some off the wall shit without being offended and getting all self righteous and shit Eminem would make shit waaay crazier than this.

    27. Things like this is what shows Eminem’s talent. He completely fucks around with the ‘Southern’ style and manages to pull it off better then actual artists using this flow. I love it, it’s hilarious and a song you want to listen to over and over.
