Just because Black is a talented producer doesn’t mean he can slack on the lyrics. Hip hop is about rhymes and beats, so this record is incomplete because the rhymes aren’t there
I don’t see what you’re talking about by the lyrical thing. Not everybody can be a Nas or Andre 3000 for that matter. He is doing his thing lyrically, and his flow is dope. The lyrics and flow match the song. I’m not hating on your statement, but the lyrics aren’t bad and they are there. But then again that’s just my opinion. I mean look at Dilla. His lyrics weren’t the best, so your gonna say Dilla wasn’t hip hop cuz beats and rhymes weren’t there? You got to put thought into a statement before posting it or you end up sounding dumb. But I see your a fan of beats and lyrics so much respect for that. Peace
Black Milk’s got a really low-key flow: he’s kinda like Inspektah Deck, you never really notice how dope he is. I’d say he kills tracks, just not in the same way other rappers do, he just rides his beats like a pro instead of being punchliney or anything.
Very nice…check the album out.
I bet Dilla somewhere smiling right now. Black Milk’s production is definitely a inspiration on my sampling. Keep it up bruh!

The beat is the best thing about this joint. No different from the mainstream even though he probably claims to be something other than mainstream
nice. 3/5
