    1. You know whats wack..bone thugs ..sons of clair documentary sold out at all its premiere showings..won documentary of the year at it opening film festival and was dominated by positive reviews..and the director tim newfang cant get anyone to pick it up so it can be released to the public…total bullshit

    2. We need a revival of the g-funk era/sound. I know certain west coast artists like yg etc. still use that sound for some of they music, but would be dope to have a strong revival. I’m tired of the same (trap/ every lyric in exaggerated autotune) bullshit, with everybody using the same wack Migos style flows and dumbed down lyrics.

      1. Have a listen to G Perico – All Blue or Mr Capone E – All Eyez…definitely strains of G Funk in that jointz

      2. The south DID ruin Hip Hop. Glad I’m not the only one to acknowledge this indisputable FACT. Bring back west coast G-Funk and east coast Boom Bap.

    3. How could you leave Nate Dogg out of the headline? He IS G-Funk. HHDX is uncultured, stick to migos you bozo’s.

      1. He’s in the artwork for Warren Gs tweet though. What do you expect from the Donald Trump of hip hop sites?

      1. I was thinking the same thing but figured the average DX visitor would miss it. Hope cats like Jinx Pooh Bobcat Ant Banks and John Bido etc etc are in it too

    4. Cold 187um SHOULD be in this Documentary!! And so should Erick Sermon, who laid the Blueprint 4 G-Funk!!!

      1. The lack of knowledge on hiphop from supposed “hiphop journalists” like Kyle “DUMBASS” Eustice, and the rest of the FUCKTARDS over at DX hq is commonplace and really embarrassing.

    5. I got chance to see one of Hip Hop legends of G Funk R.I.P Nate Dogg West Coast pioneer at the last No Limit Tour with the whole tank expect R.I.P Soulja Slim who was lock up at the time and Mia X who was dealing with family issues at the time but I did get to see Soulja Slim with C Murder in Colombia S.C . When Nate hit the stage with DPG INC. it was all she wrote then I got a chance to see Nate Dogg again in Atlanta GA. At one the biggest hip hop tours in the would The Up In Smoke Tour R.I.P to Proof as well I’m waiting for Dre next album so I can hear some of Nate Dogg unreleased music because ” you can come closer then closer ” Tru fans know what I’m talking bout .
