Young Buck Questions 50 Cent Wanting To ‘Ja Rule’ Him: ‘Why Are You Doing This To Me?’

Young Buck has opened up his complicated relationship with 50 Cent, admitting he doesn’t understand why his former label boss has a vendetta against him.

During an appearance on Wildride! with Steve-O, the former G-Unit rapper questioned why 50 seemingly wants to “Ja Rule” him, referencing his long-running beef with the Murder Inc. hitmaker.

“I don’t know what I did to make him want to see me not feed my children,” Buck said. “50’s his own person, but I would never wish death or wanna see him not be able to feed his family. Yeah, we had our misunderstandings — I don’t even call them beefs.

“But to do some of the things that he’s done in attempt to try to discredit my name, discredit me as a person, to damage my character and put out all these false narratives of different things in regards to certain craziness that I’ve went through.”

He continued: “It’s just like, ‘You rich, my man. You still doing your thing. I love your TV show Power, you know what I mean? Why are you doing this to me?! Bruh, we was once brothers. I’ve always looked at you as big brother.

“‘Yes, I’ve made mistakes too but I’ve never done anything to try to take food out of your mouth or stop you from eating.’ To see how aggressive he is towards me makes me feel like, ‘Damn, are you trying to Ja Rule me, too?!”

50 Cent and Young Buck have had bad blood ever since the Tennessee native was expelled from G-Unit in 2008. Outside of diss tracks and shots on social media, Buck has blamed 50 for forcing him into bankruptcy.

“Once he stopped me from being able to make money, I filed another bankruptcy,” he said on the It’s Tricky with Raquel Harper podcast in 2022. “They stopped him from being able to cease-and-desist in regards to me being able to, you know.

“I included what he claimed that I owed him in the bankruptcy to be able to say, ‘Well hey, if you’re owed this and present whatever receipts or whatever… You will be paid type of situation.’ But that was the only way I was able to go forward with working, so.”

Young Buck Buck filed for bankruptcy in 2020, which would have ultimately absolved him from paying 50 Cent a $250,000 debt he allegedly owed him.

50 accused Buck of failing to honor a recording contract he signed in 2014 by not delivering two albums for G-Unit Records.

It was reported in June 2022 that 50 Cent attempted to block his former signee’s bankruptcy filing, with his legal team attempting to collect on the debt while claiming Buck was hiding valuable assets.

    1. Young Buck must’ve not heard Biggie’s 10 Crack Commandments. That goddamn credit? Dead it. You think a crackhead paying you back? Shit, forget it!

    2. Is he really surprised? Other than Yayo and Eminem who really considers 50 a friend? He’s burned everyone that’s been close to him. He made the Games press tour about him and went on every radio station saying how much work he did for the Game. Banks don’t even talk to him or about him anymore and yet he’s still taken shots at Banks. He recorded Buck begging him for help and released the audio…dude is a snake

    3. Da sh!t want all bad when sha money pressed Interscope for money with out talking to 50 after that happen buck took sha side in da fall out

      1. First off buck didn’t side with sha over 50.. 50 told g unit they should go and find new management with no explanations given. Not knowing the reason g unit on their own did so. Buck only had dealt with Sha who was at the time the editing and cut and taping his album together because originally sha was a friend to 50 who was managing him and gunit and also using his studio for all need a and purposes …well when 50 got his big deal, Sha went to interscope requesting 50 g. Fifty offering point value off album sales…Sha thinking he knew best declined the point value and wanted a garantee . 50bablidged but album sales I think we’re like 800k the first wk or 2 and topped out in the highest sales at one time I believe or top sales atleast and Sha who turned down point value wanted garantee got his garantee but then wanted point value after he seen sales. When he came to 50 about it…fifty told him he got what he wanted and could not wait for what I would have gave u… heck 50 knew Sha helped him but in the end…he proved he only done it for himself … he couldn’t trust 50 to take care of him. He went to interscppe looking to get paid for studio time he fronted 50. 50 thought it was done as a friend…but he went to interscope without 50 and that wasn’t a act of a friend behind his back. So 50 told Sha he got paid his time and that’s all he was gonna pay….he offered Sha a way better deal which would have netted millions, single digit millions but compare single digits millions to a bill of 50 thousand. 1 percent Made a difference Sha didn’t see like 50… 50 Also decided it was time to cut ties with Sha over it…and 50 didn’t give buck time to explain or talk the Sha ordeal. 50 Just cut ties with buck when he heard buck was still working on his album and when buck finally knew the situation 50 wouldn’t listen and they started. Beefing…just two Mc with too much pride to admit fault on both ends real talk…

      2. Brother, you need to learn how to spell and when to use punctuation and commas if you want anyone to read more than a few lines of that wall of text.
