Xscape‘s Tamika Scott has decided to set the record straight regarding allegations that her “evil” sister and brother-in-law stole $30,000 from her.

On Wednesday (March 29) the singer took to Instagram to share news about a YouTube video she posted, in which she exposes her sister and groupmate Latocha Scott, and her brother in law, Rocky Bivens for allegedly stealing nearly $30,000 in music royalties from her.

The situation has been a major storyline on Bravo’s SWV & Xscape: The Queens of R&B, in which Tamika claims LaTocha and her husband stole from her.

“God knows I didn’t want to do this. This is not about the money you stole from me. Because I forgave you! Sis, you’re continuously sitting on all your interviews Lying & saying I’m looking for a storyline and attention knowing y’all stole my money!” Scott wrote in the post’s caption.

In the video, the “Who Can I Run To” singer reveals some major details about the alleged extortion plot. With screenshots, she explains how Rocky and LaTocha allegedly changed her email address, signature, and home address to LaTocha’s.

“Now, when my sister was asked about some exchange, she acted like she did not know what I was talking about, so I’m not gonna do too much, but I will clear my name,” Tamika says in the video.

According to Tamika, many people have the misconception that $30,000 is one check when in fact, it is several checks. “I was very nice to say only $30,000 was taken from me, stolen rather,” Tamika claims. “So, you want your apology? How ’bout I give them proof what you did?”

The singer also alleges that she was sent a text message that she believes to be from her sister threatening to expose a sex tape she made in the past.

Scott’s other groupmate and reality star Kandi Burruss has also been making waves lately. Most recently, Tamar Braxton slammed the singer after she bragged about Xscape’s booking fee allegedly being triple that of SWV’s.

Last week, Braxton slid into the comment section of a Shade Room post where she threw some shade in Kandi’s direction while promoting her new song “Changed,” which pays homage to SWV.

“Imagine having The biggest ego for the most non singing ass person in the music industry,” the Maryland native fired away. “Stream my new hit song #changed where I pay homage to the AMAZING swv!!”

The enraged reply from Tamar came in response to Kandi Burruss brag about Xscape’s higher booking rate and how they shouldn’t sacrifice their booking fee to co-headline.

“We gotta maintain the fees that we get,” Kandi said. “Another example, I don’t want to speak on exactly the fees that they get, but at the time, our fee was three to four times what their fee is. So why would we agree to split our fee and split in half? That means we are lowering what we get just to so they could say they felt comfortable.”
