Ice Spice Taunted By Alleged Chain Snatchers: ‘Pull Up’

Ice Spice has allegedly had her chain snatched, and now the perpetrators are ordering the “Munch” rapper to come and retrieve her stolen property.

On Wednesday (March 29), a clip surfaced online of an individual — with what appears to be several others in the background — claiming to have snatched Ice Spice’s chain.

In the footage, one of the unknown men appears on camera to taunt the Bronx-bred rapper, and demands that she try to reclaim her jewelry. “Ayo listen man, we got Ice Spice’s chain,” the unidentified man says. “Stop playin’ with me, pull up.”

The man adds: “Come to the bla-duh-duh, come get ya ched-duh-duh.”

Mocking Ice Spice’s trademark flow, his comments were an obvious dig at the 23-year-old’s verse on her track with PinkPantheress, “Boy’s a liar Pt.2.”

“He say that I’m good enough, grabbin’ my duh-duh-duh/ Thinkin’ ’bout shit that I shouldn’t’ve,” she raps on the track. “So I tell him there’s one of me, he makin’ fun of me/ His girl is a bum to me.”

As of press time, Ice Spice has not offered a response regarding the chain-snatching allegations.

Ice Spice has been the subject of many discussions as of late. Most recently, Latto clapped back at a fan who accused her of copying the “Princess Diana” rapper’s style, adding that she’s sick of people misinterpreting her tweets.

The accusations were made after Latto posted a photo on Instagram of her striking a similar pose to that of Spice on the cover of the latter’s Like..? EP, with one fan writing: “YOUUUU posted this… so YOU’RE creating the narrative!”

Latto responded to the fan in question, writing: “Every time y’all accuse me of copying folks ima clear it up. Nun mo nun less.”

She added in a separate tweet: “I don’t like how y’all take my tweets & make them fit ur weak ass narratives.”

The tweets come after there had been reported friction between the two rappers. During a red carpet event in January, Latto was caught off guard when a journalist from Billboard asked her to complete the lyrics to Ice Spice’s viral hit “Bikini Bottom.” Latto appeared lost and needed help finishing the rhymes almost immediately.

Fans found it odd that Latto wouldn’t know the lyrics to “Bikini Bottom” because of how active she is on TikTok, and theorized that the “Big Energy” rapper could be throwing shade at Ice Spice.

The potential tension comes shortly after Nicki Minaj deemed Ice Spice to be the Princess of Rap. Latto notably feuded with the Pinkprint rapper on Twitter last year and they have yet to reconcile, at least publicly.

The pair had exchanged words on Twitter after Nicki scolded the 2023 Grammy Awards for placing her “Super Freaky Girl” single in the category of Best Pop Solo Performance rather than in any rap category.
