Wu-Block “Wu-Block” Album Stream

Wu-Block has revealed the cover art for its upcoming album Wu-Block, releasing November 13th via eOne Music.

For the project, Wu-Tang Clan members join forces with D-Block for an album’s worth of tracks. The LP’s latest single, “Stick Up Kids” featuring Ghostface Killah, Sheek Louch and Jadakiss, was just released to iTunes and can be purchased here.

Ghostface Killah recently spoke on the project, stating that it’s going to fill in any void that’s missing in Hip Hop. “It’s homemade, yo. It’s one of those albums where it’s like, ‘This what’s been missing,'” he said. “When we heard it for the first time all the way down, I was happy – and I don’t really get to say that too much about making projects and stuff like that, but I was really, really happy. There’s nothing out there that’s like it.”

    1. Didn’t this leak months ago?I was excited for this album but they have way to many 80’s type beats on there..It’s cool to go retro sometimes but recycling the same loops and break beats gets boring after a while

    2. jesus that’s some sorry shit I’m a huge Ghost fan… what the fuck is wrong with rappers anyway? First Roc Marciano’s fugazy mixtape-like cover, now this… no wonder nobody wants to BUY the shit even when the music might be hot. (For sure with Roc, maybe with this.)

    3. horrible. lol. where da creativity? YMCMB and MMG da last creative groups? smh. Lil Wayne and Rick Ross saved hip hop. swag

      1. I think the “Stick Up Kids” single cover would have been better without the Stick Up Kids under it but this one looks just as ill nice work guys can’t wait to hear the whole album, peace, Cronic.

    4. I guess it is a GenX thing but um who are you clowns talking about an album cover is ugly or whatever you faggots say – who gives a fuck? The tracks are what I am concerned about; the lyrical content. You dumb fucks have been cultured into thinking like superficial little metrosexual bitches. Probably sit around commenting on attire like a bunch of teenage girls with your skinny jeans giving a yeast infection – go wash your pussies bitches!

      1. you better shut your mouth you dumb fuck
this post is about an album cover so it is legitimate to give its opinion

      2. LMAO @DEEZ 2 above cat fighting on hip hop web cite….shits disgusting.

You fudge packers need to adjust you’re THONGS!

    5. @Jack Merridew

Excuse me Jack but you wouldn’t know shit if you were born in it. Now shut the fuck up when grown folks are talking before I pull up your skirt and expose your silk panties. Don’t go defending your lifestyle to me unless you want to come out of the closet for us. Now say something again I dare you, I double dare you muthafucka so I can make change out of your $5 trick ass.

    6. There comes a time in every bitch-nigga’s life where he looks in the mirror while putting on his makeup and says “You Sexy Bitch”! I will leave waffle prints on any nigga that defends acting like a bitch. I consider it my duty as man to check your marks for excepting a foot in your ass and a dick in your mouth. You walk talk and act like hoes so the OGs will call you on it. Be a man for once bitch-nigga and just shut up and peep game.

    7. @Jack Merridew

Sigh..Jack, Jack you my friend are a glutton for punishment. First let me correct you; god would be accurate but that obviously goes over your head. You can refer to the Bible if know how to read or have the ability to discern what that means. The term thug may have derived from the term thuggie which dates back to the Moors or later day Egyptians who were the first pirates – you can look that up too if you care to. I told you to keep quiet but you constantly expose yourself for the ignorant bitch that you are. I command this language and knowledge like the lord that I am which is the same reason why I can run circles around you on the Internet and in real life – if you want to call it real – refer to Quantum Physics – again if you have the mental capacity.

I can do this all day but you have already lost – so just give up.

    8. @Fuck Marcy

You are not worthy of the words that I am typing right now but since you took the time. When you die you will learn more than you did your entire life. You will have to wait and see on that one but trust be because you are a complete idiot. I had the ability to articulate a better argument in grade school homie. Even a subatomic particle has more sense than you do. You back to whatever it is you were doing and well just exist….I guess.

      1. Ghost hasn’t spit a wack verse in his entire career, and his last album was great. Just because sales have dropped off doesn’t mean he’s done. I check for every Ghost verse that drops, and I’m always impressed.

    9. @Anonymous

Hmm pretty unimaginative on your part – when in reality you wouldn’t even qualify for a job buffing his wallabes. Hate is a female trait and it looks so out a place on a so called man/boy/bitch-nigga like yourself. Then again it is a good look for you. How much of a bitch do you have to be to hate on a factor in the game when you will never be on his level – ever. You are all marshmallows and gumdrops on the inside aren’t you – just in time for Halloween piata ass nigga.

    10. one man’s treasure is another man’s waste…

to tme this is cover is horrible, it looks like this is a joke and the real cover art is still upcoming geez why is wu using the flag as a pusher??

    11. ok, i’m 34, and been down with wu, ghost, sheek, etc for more than a minute. to have some veterans collab and and try to compete with this new generation of colorful clothes and skinny wear…and THIS IS THE FUCKING COVER!!!! WACK!!!!!
I mean, maybe all of them on a corner of NYC…maybe…..
wearing fly gear….maybe…anything but this. I guess its good no one buys physical discs anymore and everythings digital,, but even in my ipod…this is turrrrble. the mixtape was way better.

      1. they arent competing with nobody, they know the teenie boppers arent buyin the shit, the american flag drippin blood gets the point across i would think, i just want heaters, fuck a cover

    12. I’m certain the album itself will be better than the cover. Y’all getting lazy with that cover. Scrap it.

    13. This site is going to feel really stupid when the real cover comes out….They probably won’t even post it on here. They did the same crap with Rick Ross, saying some other bs was the cover, then the real cover came out a few weeks after.

    14. very patriotic, i can careless wat the cover looks like long as the albums banging. i wanna see a tracklist-production credits

    15. “this is NOT THE FINAL ALBUM COVER”

You’re right. The official cover is going to show Sheek wiping his nose with a one dollar bill.

    16. U-God is NOWHERE on the album, hahahaha!!! How wack is he??? This is a dream album and the beats will be stellar as well!

      1. Peep his opening verse on Six Directions of Boxing.. better than anyone else’s verse on there. He’s not wack

    17. WTF? This is a Ghost and Sheek album…………who are the WORST rappers in their groups. Fucking terrible. I was expecting a Jada, Meth, and GZA track or something like that. This shit looks like its gonna be beyond ass.

      1. hahaha are you serious? Ghost is has incredible flow and storytelling many people put Ghost in their Top 5 dead or alive yea i said it Ghost is better than Biggie

    18. gunna be a classic defo been waiting the cover is mmeh but i wasnt expecting much better wu covers allways suck then when you hear its like a thunderbolt cos motherfuckas be shocked.

    19. would of been tight they had a song with all of wu-tang and all of D-Block. Yeah this look like it’s going be dope.

      1. The fuck is wrong with you? Masta Killa is on there. And Ghost just did four verses on the Man With the Iron Fists Soundtrack (with RZA and U-God)

    20. DAAAAANM this is fire right here but i bet it wont get any radio play only bubble gum rap gets played i wanna see the producers this album better do good numbers WU BLOCK

    21. Can’t you see that Masta Killa and Inspectah Deck are on track 8 and 9 respectively? A better question is why U-God and RZA are left out. RZA might be on the production though.

    22. wheres the self titled song WU-BLOCK produced by RZA hope it wasnt cut dope song check it out on youtube WU-BLOCK!!!!!

    23. Since BUSTER DOUGLAS– I mean boring, repetitive, cornball MIC TYSON– was such a piece of lazy mediocre shit…

I have hopes THIS is album of the year, despite the wack cover… and if not Wu Block, then Roc Marciano will hold it down.

      1. This is a Ghost and Sheek album featuring members from both groups… They said that in EVERY INTERVIEW. smh, rap fans are stupid.

    24. It’s funny, because they already reviewed the album, yet for some reason they revoked it. It was given a 2.5. I wonder what’s goin on here, and why there needs to be an update on the cover and tracklist.

    26. OK. Im Back. Back to buying music. ## Forget what the haters say in the first place. Ain’t nothing like bangers in the truck from my birthplace!!! J-Knife

      1. Its fucking Wu and The LOX, what the fuck did you expect? Dumb ass. This is the music you get from these dudes, and its what they do best.

You want them to switch up their style when all the other greats are making corny ass music? GTFO.

    27. Album is solid overall. This was a huge step-up for Sheek but a kind of a step-back for Ghost. You can tell he really didn’t deliver to his full potential because he would’ve left Sheek in the dust. Looking forward to his next album with Adrian Younge(Black Dynamite). Good, gritty NY rap.

    28. Anyone who buys this album will be labled as “not cute”.. These dudes are just ugly men who get their bootyholes fingered constantly and get treated like the underprivileged bums they are. You can say i’m trolling all you want but in today’s society, THIS NEW GENERATION only respects the plight of gay’s lesbians and weirdoes alike.. All their lyrics are just outdated, overated and do not speak for the millions of us who are more superior then these subpar middle class folk, which is politically correct way of exposing these animals for what they are so have a nice day and dont ruin your life by promoting this kind of black guy music! byyyye!!

      1. Lol…..this guy^^^^. Word to moms family I WILL BE ROLLIN UP IN THE WHIP to this…..dated? That’s fine, cats over 30 realize times are changing, does that mean we feed into the metrosexual/homosexual society we get FED now??? Absolutely not…..for me, it’s STILL Champion hoodies, baggy jeans and white sneakers…..you’re comment is full of philosphical fuckery, I swear that if MOST of you took that bullshit knowledge to school, you wouldn’t be on a damn blog talking about conspiracy theories 24/7, the internet gives some of the dumbest people in society a voice. One love fam and don’t let that shaft stick you in the backside bruh…….OUT!

      2. The internet is full of this “Drake says” adolescent behavior and the majority of it is Caucasian males. See “folks”, “animals”, “black guy” for examples. These are the same Caucasians who are on the Nicki Minaj thread saying racism doesn’t exist.

I respect you as being an authentic visitor Milehigh so you’ll understand when I say the internet empowered the social misfit.

      3. agree with drake says. this album sounds very outdated and not up to date. old ass niggas stuck in the past making music for those still stuck in the past and too stubborn to move on.

    29. Im so tired of Deck being left out of projects..when did he not bring it for a Wu project. To me Deck is top 3 in the WU. Really cant think of anyone i wish a win for more, a true classic solo album. pz.

      1. Deck is on here. This track list credits must be wrong since I just heard the album and I think he’s on 2 tracks

    30. Im tired of deze old ass niggaz tryin to come back. we have new and better storytellers like Lil Wayne, Drake, Rick Ross and Meek Mill. swag

      1. nigga SUCK A SICK DICK WET…U MUST STILL BE LIVIN WITH UR MOMMA N AUNTY..THIS REAL OFFICIAL NO BITCH BOY HIP HOP..NO TIGHT JEANS NO NUTT HUGGER SHIRTS NONE OF THAT SHIT..STR8 UP BASH U IN THE FACE FOR LIVING RAP..GET SOME BIGGER JEANS LIL BOY..WUTANG 4EVA..MUTHAFUCKAS!

      2. LMAo. what are you like 15-18? Thats like saying stop looking at Einstein’s work, it’s old. This isn’t sports, just because your older doesn’t mean you shouldn’t rap.

      1. of course i’m not going to buy it. i don’t support washed up old ass niggas. it’s those hip hop purists who keep saying “hip hop is dead” that aren’t going to buy it.

      2. youre such a homo. LOL @ broke kids at home talking record sales like an exec. sheek would kill you with a bitchslap and ghost would smush you. flop or not these niggas make BANK on the road.

    31. Ghost is right, this is what the game needed, some authentic cook-up no tight jeans rap. No features from corney new rappers who move units and feel that their music is on point.

This is not Platinum plaques rap, this if for certain delegates, if you use the word swag atleast once a day, THIS AINT FOR YOU!

    32. This ignorant little kids (youngsta, drake, etc)
You know your shit wouldn’t even of existed without the pioneers, who’s shit is still classic, tight, and on point..
Your new little rappers won’t even make it cause all you young fuks still living with your momma probably don’t even buy c.d.’s or could even afford em… Down loading still not supporting your so called talented skinny jeans artists, who themselves respect & support the founders..
Fuck, go back to school, you’ve obviously dropped out already to work at McDonald’s with your dumb ass… That ain’t gangster.!

Wu-tang’ wu block ghost Rae. The whole fam still cooking up marvelous shit to make your mouth water

    33. GREAT ALBUM
REAL STREET ISHT AN’ DOPE BEATS
AND IM SUPRISED ABOUT SHEEK ON IT THIS ALBUM IS DOPE

      HHDX GIVE ONLY 3.5
      WTF

    34. dude these guys are so real when it comes to the hip hop side of rap to get an idea go back to the era when they started rapping, real see the real
