Philadelphia, Pennsylvania emcee Vinnie Paz of Jedi Mind Tricks has announced plans to release his sophomore solo album. The Jedi Mind Tricks co-founder and member of Army Of The Pharaohs and Heavy Metal Kings, Paz’s October 23 release will be called God Of The Serengeti. The album will be released through the emcee’s own Enemy Soil Records imprint.
This effort follows up 2010’s Season Of The Assassin, which featured Freeway, Clipse and Paul Wall, among others. Last year, Vinnie released Heavy Metal Kings with Ill Bill and Violence Begets Violence with Jedi Mind Tricks.

Maybe he’s just in peace with himself and has found something spiritual, just saying I believe you can be a God if you just unlock it from within yourself. God is in all of us, we just don’t really know it. God is a state of mind, an idea, a belief. To me at least. If Vinnie wants to call himself the God of something, he can, but you’re mocking it because you don’t understand it, that’s what I believe and I bet you believe otherwise and I’m making no sense to you, so you’re probably going to mock me also.
