Tyga Misses Movie Shoot Because Of Lost Passport

This week, Tyga was slated to start shooting for the independent film Sleight, but did not show up because of a missing passport, Page Six reports. The rapper was supposed to play a villain in the urban thriller.

“His people stopped responding to e-mails and phone calls from the producers, so they were forced to replace him at the last minute,” a source says to the publication.

Tyga’s team said he was stranded in St. Tropez, France. His Instagram account appears to confirm his whereabouts.

“St.Tropez #Kingin,” the rapper writes under a picture of him in front of bottles of champagne.

Filmmakers expressed disappointment in Tyga’s no-show.

“We had hoped he would walk on set and blow us away with his talent,” producer Eric B. Fleischman says, “but we take our productions very seriously, and when an actor doesn’t share our sense of professional commitment, we have to do what’s best for the film.”
