Dolla $ign is then approached by two men who appear to check to make sure he’s responsive before helping him turn onto his side. The clip then jumps to footage of his stint at the hospital before an on screen caption appears, reading “5 hours later,” after which the video cuts to a performance alongside Mario.

“Just watching this shit gave me a headache again [face palm emoji, skull emoji],” Ty Dolla $ign captioned the post. “Happy holidays everyone and keep pushing your friends to the next level . Never give up. I’ll be back at the park once the doctor says I’m good and I’ll where a helmet next time I promise. I know I know even Tony where’s [sic] a helmet.”

Backstage, an exchange between Mario and Ty Dolla $ign seemed to indicate the two are working on music together, though it’s unclear in what capacity. But Mario took advantage of the moment to thank his collaborator for motivating him in the studio.

“I’m just glad you good! We need you mobile, but people like me need people like you, bro,” he stated. “Who understand music bro, who understand the culture. Aight, for instance, I never went in the studio with somebody and was pressured to write like I was pressured to write with you. I ain’t never felt that pressure before. But it was good for me.”

Ty Dolla $ign initially shared news of his skating accident hours after it happened on November 26. The West Coast crooner alerted fans to his hospitalization by posting a photo of him laid in a hospital bed with medical wires hooked to his bare chest.

While his cryptic caption — open hands and fingers crossed emojis — left followers to speculate about what had happened, he later took to his Instagram Stories to explain that he’d been knocked unconscious while skateboarding and has since been safely discharged from the hospital.
