Lyfe Jennings has responded to fellow R&B singer Mario, who seemed to jump into the conversation mocking Lyfe on social media following a recent performance.
On Sunday (December 18) a fan shared video clips from an appearance by the singer on Saturday (December) 17, making it clear that he did not have the experience she was expecting.

“I went to see Lyfe Jenningz last night & when I tell you never tf again…I want my mf money back,” the accompanying tweet read.
The clips quickly began circulating on social media, eventually being posted to Instagram by The Neighborhood Talk.

He hopped into the the comments section of the IG post to defend himself. “Better put some respect on my sh*t,” he wrote. “Ima whole legend out here Pronto. 80 shows this year alone 80% of em sold out. Go check my new video ’till you gone’ it’ll explain this gas lighting wit cheap gas ass blog.”
Lyfe Jennings eventually spotted a comment by Mario, who had responded to the footage with a facepalm emoji, prompting the “Must Be Nice” singer to react.
“That’s why I fuck wit the rappers,” Lyfe replied. “R and b n-ggas be fake AF. So much I could say but my number speak for themselves and my rep do too.”
The singer then took the conversation to his own IG account, sharing a clip of the movie Paid In Full. “So Lyfe a meme now?!!,” he captioned the video. “Fuck all yaw Christmas cancelled!!!! ‘Till you gone’ video on youtube and streaming everywhere.”

This isn’t the first time Mario has found himself at odds with one of his peers this year. His highly publicized Verzuz battle against Omarion in June yielded more than a few viral moments, including a bit of onstage tension after the former B2K singer brought his brother O’Ryan, Jeremih and Tank out for support.
Immediately following the live event, Mario posted an open coffin on Instagram, adding the caption, “YEAAA… room for 3! HAHAHAHAHAHA R&B Ain’t dead @omarion but you and your friends rest well tonight…”

Mario continued taunting his rival the next day with an all-text post that read, “I spoke to @omarion after his wake last night. He woke NOW! Said I inspired him to become a full time author. @0ryan0ryan is gonna grow the watermelons and O’s gonna write books! I’m proud of them [prayer hands emoji] I know moms proud too. I saw her back stage and said hi!”
