Trick Daddy has accused Uncle Murda of attempting to use the tragedies in other people’s lives to force a viral moment with his annual ‘Rap Up’ tracks.
The Miami legend, who was caught in Uncle Murda’s crosshairs in the “Rap Up 2021,” made the statement during a segment of his cooking show I Got My Pots, which appeared to be a planned portion of the show.

“I’ma tell y’all somethin’ right now,” Trick Daddy started. “Viral is something that you do accidentally. Anybody that tries to go viral, you are considered, to me, as a clown. You’re a joke. You’re a fool. You’re a gimmick. You’re a fraud. You catfish. Viral is something that is supposed to happen accidentally unless you’re a content creator, unless you’re an actor, unless you a clown that do magic tricks.”
He continued: “The No. 1 clown for the last five years is Uncle Murda. You a clown, boy. You take people unfortunate disasters, you take people’s downward spirals in life, you take the things that people go through within that year; you sit there for that whole year ’cause you ain’t got nothing else to do and you put that in a song every year. That’s clown shit, boy.”
Trick Daddy was among the many celebrities at whom Uncle Murda took aim in 2021, calling the Slip-N-Slide rapper a “coke head” for denying Beyoncé’s vocal ability.
The 14-minute track also hears Murda deliver punchlines about Lil Nas X catching AIDS and Tyler, The Creator being gay. He also address Megan Thee Stallion’s shooting, Dr. Dre and Kanye West’s respective divorces and the deaths of DMX, Drakeo The Ruler and Virgil Abloh.

After criticizing the Brooklyn MC’s general approach to the “Rap Up,” Trick turned to the 2021 diss specifically. “You said my name and I didn’t say nothing about it because I didn’t want this to be about me,” he said. “It’s not about me. This is about everybody that feel like they don’t have the voice to say something to you. I’m gon’ say something to you and I stand on what I said.
“And I’m not worrying about nothing that you possibly — let me come from around here: I’m not worrying about no backlash off nothing I say to you, boy. You want to make some money? Find you something else to do.”

Uncle Murda’s “Rap Up 2021” also drew criticism from Freddie Gibbs, who was among the many mentioned on the track. The day after the song was released, Gibbs took to his Instagram Stories and basically called out all New York rappers: “So many NY rappers on my dick right now. I can’t wait to go to y’all city and show u how to sell it out. byke byke.” He added: “NYC should be ashamed of y’all non rapping ass n-ggaz. This my shit now.”
When the “Rap Up 2022” was released on December 31, Gibbs was once again among Uncle Murda’s long list of targets.
On the track, Uncle Murda raps: “Let’s talk about Freddie Gibbs like really wassup with him?/ N-ggas robbed him in Buffalo and he got beat up again/ He be out here looking like a cold-blooded sucker.”
Gibbs didn’t take the diss too lightly, responding: “Uncle Murda be friendly as a box of puppies every time I see him.”

Uncle Murda disses several other people on his “Rap Up 2022” including Kanye West, who he crowns “Donkey of the Year” for his various controversies; Gunna, who had just been released from jail after taking a plea deal in the RICO case against his and Young Thug’s YSL (Young Slime Life) collective; Will Smith’s Oscars slap on Chris Rock.
Additionally, he takes aim at Diddy and Yung Miami’s “single-but-dating” relationship, the deaths of TakeOff, PnB Rock and DJ Kay Slay, Master P and Romeo Miller’s (since-resolved) family feud and much more.
