Travis Scott’s “Astroworld” Credits Include CyHi The Prynce, Nav & Stevie Wonder

New father Travis Scott dropped his highly anticipated new album Astroworld early Friday (August 3). Now the full album credits are available, showing the host of talented names who added their touch to the offering.

Even without the credits on hand, many names were already widely known, including Drake on “Sicko Mode,” Frank Ocean on “Carousel,” and Tame Impala, The Weeknd and Pharrell on “Skeletons.”

More surprising, though, were some of the writing credits.

CyHi The Prynce is credited with writing on four songs: “Stargazing,” “Sicko Mode,” “5% Tint,” and “Coffee Bean” — though it’s not immediately clear what he specifically wrote.

Nav joins Gunna in the writing credits for “Yosemite,” on which they both appear.

Elsewhere, Swae Lee gets a writing credit on “R.I.P. Screw” for his feature, and Juice WRLD and Sheck Wes are both credited for their appearances on “No Bystanders.”

Stevie Wonder’s reps confirmed to Pitchfork that was him playing harmonica on “Stop Trying to Be God,” which serves as an amazing easter egg.

Production wise, Sonny Digital, Hit-Boy, Tame Impala, Boi-1da, Thundercat, and — of course — Mike Dean and Scott himself, among many others, helped bring this project to life.

    1. Nav didnt get writing credits on his feature on “Cant Say.” Guess Travis told him what to say for how he wanted it sound or he had a ghost writer for a feature which is very wack if he couldn’t even do a feature by himself lol. Anyways all in all Astroworld is a good album but as usual when an album is hyped up for so long..27 months to be exact from the time he first announced it which was months before birds even dropped. It had me expecting this amazing hard hitting album which it wasnt what i was expecting as it had a lot slower sounding songs that weren’t the hard bangin shit i was expecting to hear. Again, it was definitely a dope album just not what i was exactly expecting to hear from him. Who knows tho its still pretty early since the release to really give a 100% straight opinion ill prob have to sit on it n listen for a few more days or even a week to really give my best opinion on it regardless if I’ve already bumped it 10 times over so far lol.. Anyways, what yall think bout Astroworld !!??

      1. So that was Nav as the feature on Can’t Say? Naw I can’t believe it! But whoever it was he went in..my favorite song on the album…

    2. The album is askew from mainstream. There’s not a replicated Zaytoven, Buddha Bless, or Mike Will Made It beat. The first half is hard hitting, while the other half is soft. There are no quick phased trap rhymes like Migos, Rae Sremmurd, or 2 Chainz. Travis is still doing his slow over vocalized synthesized voice over. And I was expecting an experimental trap song like the overdone StremmLife 3, or Eminem in Revival , but he didn’t follow that path. He followed his career assisted path and kept it safe that way.

      1. Everyone knows Drake writes his own shit – even his haters. A couple of similar reference tracks with a few verses/hooks which don’t even match the final versions of songs doesn’t change that. Just like Nas having his brother write bars for One Mic or Ghostface having Method Mad bars on Cherchez La Ghost doesn’t mean they ain’t writers. But I understand you need to keep these myths alive faced with the uncomfortable reality of who has been dominating the game for the last 10 years at an unprecedented level…

        1. Okay, I call bullshit on Jungle writing “One Mic”. Where the hell did you get that info from? If Jungle wrote that masterpiece, then how come his own verses aren’t on that level? You Drake fans are hilarious and insecure with all this “who wrote who’s bars” nonsense.

          1. Well it was well stated by Nas on a documentary on Netflix’s Rapture but Jungle didn’t write the song he just started the 1st few bars

            1. Okay, that makes more sense. I understand how people can get ideas and inspiration from other people, but this Astro motherfucker made it sound like Jungle wrote the song, which is why I had to call him out. Thanks for clarifying.

    3. Dude is wack he does not even remember Astroworld dude was not even old enough 80s and 90s were the great times dude was to young. He just used the name to get more attention screw this chump S M H.
