Travis Scott shocked fans when he made a surprise appearance during a Playboi Carti during his opening performance on The Weeknd‘s After Hours Till Dawn tour.
Carti was joined by his “FE!N” collaborator at Soldier Field in Chicago on Saturday night (May 31) where they dueted on a number of hits including “CRUSH” from the recently released MUSIC.
Carti also used the moment to further tease his next album, believed to be called BABY BOI.
Shortly after the concert concluded, Carti wrote on Instagram: “SWAMP IZZO TRAVIS SCOTT TRIM DEM STADIUMS AINT NO JOKE KID YOU GOT 2 COME WITH IT BBYBOY.”

Carti has recently been involved in a back and forth with former collaborator Kanye West.
West and Carti have had issues ever since the Opium founder took West off his long-awaited album MUSIC due to his controversial social media outbursts about antisemitism, the Ku Klux Klan and violence against women.
In response, West threatened to end Carti’s career, saying: “This n-gga is stupid, bro. You don’t know, when I’m dealing with my kids, this ain’t your niece, n-gga. This is my daughter, n-gga,” referencing the Atlanta rapper’s recent attempt to collaborate with his daughter North.
West also said: “Don’t fuck with me, boy! Don’t fucking play with me, n-gga! You letting these white people use us against each other, you letting these Jews use us against each other, n-gga. I put you on, n-gga!”
West would later claim that Playboi Carti pulled up on him with a gun while he was staying at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles.
During his controversial Twitch streaming debut, West made a number of accusations about his one-time friend and collaborator as their feud appears to escalate beyond social media shots.
West said on the stream: “This n-gga told me he was at the Chateau with a gun, n-gga. What that mean, n-gga? And the n-gga say he don’t be on the internet. It’s like, if you don’t be on the internet, what are we talking about, then? I ain’t say nothing, then.”
Carti has mostly kept quiet about West’s shots and has not yet responded to his claim that he turned up to his hotel with a gun.
Before their falling out, West and Carti had previously worked on songs such as Donda standout “Off the Grid”, the number one single “Carnival” and “Go2DaMoon” from the “Magnolia” rapper’s second album Whole Lotta Red.
