Houston rapper Trae Tha Truth has had quite a time since his last effort, 2007’s Life Goes On. The star of the ABN (Asshole By Nature) click, Trae had a quiet departure from Rap-A-Lot Records [click to read], where he garnered national attention in 2006’s Restless album. In the last two years, Trae had a controversial altercation at the 2008 Ozone Awards with city neighbor Mike Jones [click to read], and an unfortunate shooting incident mar his star-studded 2009 Trae Day event in Houston [click to view].
Due in 2010 on A.B.N./Fontana/Universal Records, Tha Truth is reportedly set to feature Lil Wayne, Bun B, Young Buck, Ludacris and The Game, among others.
To gear up for the album, The Incredible Truth, a promotional mixtape, is set to come before year’s end. The effort will be hosted by Baker (Vh1‘s Real Chance At Love).
