Tory Lanez appears to be quick at dishing out punches – and just as fast at fleeing the scene.
R&B singer Joshua Benoit posted an Instagram video of a heated Lanez launching a punch at his face. In the caption, he says Lanez ran immediately. Benoit also claims he repeatedly tried to contact Lanez regarding the incident to no avail.
“Yo @torylanez you’re going to sucker punch me and run out after?” Benoit wrote. “I’m not one to take to social media about things, but I reached out to you many times and this is the only way I can get your attention.
“Besides, I already seen this video going around, so It is what it is. I reached out to you to resolve this like men a few times! We live in the same city… get at me. This is the last time I’ll speak on it. If anyone has the full video DM me ASAP!!”
Lanez commented on the post, promising to share what transpired in an extended video on Friday (March 27).
“Ima post the full video on Friday,” he wrote. “Since u wanna cap !!!!!”

This isn’t the first scuffle the Toronto rapper has been involved in. Last November, the Canadian rapper was caught on camera throwing a fist at Love & Hip Hop: Miami cast member Prince Michael Harty in a Miami nightclub.
Lanez’s new project New Toronto 3 is expected before the end of the month – his first release since completing his deal with Interscope Records.
That video kinda suspect but when you squared up man to man, chest to chest and you sayin “wassup, let’s go” then you get snuffed, that ain’t really a sucker punch? It looked like they were face to face, eventually somebody gotta be the first to throw?
Tory Lanez was the one that said wassup then, not Benoit.
