Ab-Soul tweeted yesterday (May 1) that, “I’m this close to just leakin my shit like its a mixtape.”
Today, TDE CEO Top Dawg responded with a series of tweets about Ab-Soul’s forthcoming project.
“Listening 2 some new @jayrock shit got me pumped… Also @abdashsoul updates Monday….#TDE,” one Top Dawg tweet said.
Another read, “I DARE A NIGGA ON MY TEAM LEAK HIS ALBUM…..#TDE.”
That was followed by, “YOU CANT RUSH GREATNESS…….”
In October 2013, Ab-Soul confirmed that he was finalizing work on the album. The project, which was originally believed to be titled Black Lip Pastor, has no title.
In March 2014, Top Dawg announced that Soul’s album will be released this year, along with other TDE projects. Top announced this and added “be patient” to the update.

Albums leak all the time. Artist now should just be prepared for it. Jay Rock is the best lyricist and Kendrick and also good. But Schoolboy Q album in general was formed better.
